Vulpix listened as Meowzie explained, though it failed to enlighten her much. So she was just as lost as she herself. Huh. Squirtle's next words made her ears prick though. So this place WAS about finding true love. How did one go about that exactly? She stared at him blankly, first as he said his piece about love and then went on to say something about Ash's Butterfree. "No...." She said it without much emotion. Honestly, the affairs of Ash's Pokemon didn't concern her all that much. After all, they had never been her teammates. If only Onix, Geodude, or Zubat were here. They were respectable Pokemon in their own right. She sort of missed them.
.....Unlike Meowth. The fur stood up on the ridge of Vulpix's spine much like a frightened cat, and she stood in a defensive posture, ready to attack should the troublesome Poke feline decide to cause them grief. Lips parted to reveal surprisingly sharp teeth; however, before she could say more Meowth began talking to Meowzie. "You....you know him?" Vulpix stared at Meowzie blankly, too shocked to even notice that her old trainer had suddenly made an appearance.
(Sorry Squirtle, but there's no way she'd have heard about it. Nobody says you have to explain anything anyway. I don't think Vulpix cares much either way xD)

Snivy was about to reply to Squirtle, but just shrugged it off. "Whatever Hon, I just wanna be up here, is that a crime all of a sudden?" she asked. But before she could say more, her eye twinkled at the sight of Meowth, Team Rocket's pokemon, she didn't react much other than staring. But she was did take some note as the female did know Meowth. "Hmm," she observed. Then noticing the newly arrived human. He looked a little older than Ash, and she seemed like a decent trainer to her, unlike Ursula.

"You left the gang and came here. So you're not in love with that Persian?" asked Meowth.
His bitter tone changed to a confused one as he realized Persian and the rest of the gang weren't here. She seemed loyal to the gang at the very least and he'd only assumed she was in love with him. Perhaps she grew tired of the gang or maybe she wasn't in love with him after all. She'd probably find someone else here anywhere with her luck. He glanced around noticing the other Pokemon whisper or look at him. He guessed many of them were the twerp's Pokemon seeing Brock was here as well. Well he'd already brought it up already he might as well finish the story with his side.
"We grew up in the same town. I fell in love, and she rejected me. I learned to walk and talk like a human to impress her and she turned me down again. I left town and joined Team Rocket. When I came back she joined a street gang of Meowths and a Persian and she rejected me again. That was the last time I saw her years ago before now." said Meowth.
He turned and walked away not really wanting to talk about it anymore. Seeing her again had brought up those painful memories and his old feelings. He sat down under a tree. If she wanted to talk it would be her choice.
-----------
Brock meanwhile was shocked at the display. He had been there the last time when Meowth had tried to win back Meowzie and had heard about his story when that producer made it into a film. Sure he was a crook but he hoped Meowth did find someone here. Everyone deserved to be happy here.

Ursula didn't really care too much for the love story, in fact it almost made her want to vomit. True love? Bah, there was no such thing, but there ahd to be because she had both lock and key, so somehow that meant that someone out there was for her right? But that didn't mean anything. "So, where's DD today Brock?" she asked. "Out shopping again i suppose?"

Brock turned to Ursula hearing her question. She reminded him a lot of Harley as they both used tricks to try to defeat his friends Dawn and May. But in the end she'd lost to Dawn anyway and still refused to believe Dawn was better. He smiled deciding to be polite since she was the only person here and they'd probably be stuck on the island for awhile anyway.
"I'm not sure. I haven't seen in her awhile. Why are you asking? You planning on having contest battles here?" asked Brock.

"Unfortunately." Meowzie offered a little nod in response to Vulpix's question, and she had prepared herself to supply her version of the story, but Meowth had jumped the gun and began spinning his version of the tale. Needless to say, Meowzie wasn't all that amused by how he had worded how things had gone down. On top of that, she was just taken aback by his assumption that she had loved the Persian that had allowed her to join the gang. It was time she spoke up on that matter. Little kitty couldn't stay silent forever.
"You actually thought I loved that Persian? I was only repaying him for letting me stay with the gang! That doesn't mean I felt anything but gratitude for him and what he did." she spat. The Persian had been nice, incredibly so for taking in a strange Meowth that had purposefully called street Pokemon filthy and many other choice words, but not what Meowzie had been looking for. He'd merely been a leader and a caretaker when Meowzie had been getting back on her feet after being abandoned.
"I stayed because I felt I had to repay him. What did you want me to do? Go with a... a... Pokemon like you? I told you before, you were nothing but a filthy street Meowth before! Don't even get me started on how you thought you could impress me by attempting to be human. I-" Meowzie wanted to finish, but Meowth had turned around and left. Now he was sitting under a tree and she was left feeling rather unhappy. Well, she might as well keep talking to Vulpix and the other Pokemon if they were willing to listen. With a sigh, she turned her attention to the other Pokemon and turned her gaze to the ground.
"I don't even really know why I'm here. That pink human told me it was about love, but I don't even know what I'm looking for."

((ooc: sorry it took me ages to show up - I've been lazy and didn't feel like making Skitty an account XP))
Skitty had been enjoying herself chaseing various things: leaves, her tail, butterflys. She paused to look around at the foliage, chooseing her next victim, when her ears perked up. There were other Pokemon around here, and people too by the sounds of it. Oh joy!
The pink Pokemon lept foreword and began closeing in on them with excited little bounds. She couldn't help as a big, goofy smile grew on her face. In no time at all, Skitty arrived - making a mess of herself as she tumbled through a budding bush with a rustle and a crash. She recovered herself quickly and stood, looking ready to leap, with her tail striaght up.
"Hey, hey! I know you're here! Let's-" Skitty paused, her grin fading upon looking over the others, especially the two tense-looking meowths, "Am I interupting something?"
