Rainy Day Blues

[Robin]

Robin scanned the room from behind his mask. He noticed a familiar girl sitting reading a book, Raven. What was she doing here? Finding love defiantly wasn't on that dark teen's mind was it? It hadn't been when he'd gotten a look into the workings. Standing up he looked at Rex, "I'll be right back. I'm going to try to get a new player."

Walking towards the teen he sat next to her, "Raven. How about you join us? I get that it's not your kind of game, but why not at least try? You didn't like BB for a long time...alright you still don't but still."

[Raven]

Raven's eyes gazed up from her book as she looked at Robin for a moment. At first, she didn't answer his question, nor his statement about Beast Boy, as if she was contemplating about actually joining in the game and in turn, just let off a sigh as she put her book away "Fine" was all she had said as she levitated off the ground a foot or two.

She looked to Robin once more "But I'm not kissing Beast Boy" she spoke in her usual, odd humour that didn't have any real tone to it. More like in a deadpan-like voice instead as she floated off towards the rest of the group, still just a foot or two off the ground.

(ooc: and yes, I still know that Beast Boy is already taken XD)

[Blackfire]

(Okay, quick note, I do not make a habit of playing multiple characters in a post. I just decided to add more than one character to the thread right now.)

Blackfire was drifting around the library in the shadows. Usually one of the quietest places in the mansion, she rather enjoyed trying to nap during rainy days while a book was on her face to block out the light. The commotion beneath her was a little too much to get any sleep. She was about to shout back until she heard the words 'Truth or Dare'. The fact that Robin was there made it all the sweeter. If she played her cards right, she could ruin her little sisters' life forever.

She hovered downwards until she reached the ground. She chuckled warmly as she walked towards the group with her normal regal popstar air. "So, playing a little game of truth or dare, are we? I guess I better join, or else it'll end up as some sort of snore fest." She grinned evilly, but in the mischievous, friendly sort of evil, not her usual take over the world manner. "I mean, somebody's gotta be the life of the party."

"Eh, geez, what's the matter with all of youse?" Joey was cleaning his right ear out with his pinky. "Seriously, there's no reason to be shouting. I was expecting to see that pink-skinned boss lady here or something. Thought she had a big announcement."

Truth be told, Joey hadn't even spent any time in the library since he arrived on the island. He was never much of a book learner. Besides, his dad pretty much used books as fire fodder. He knew how to read or else he never would have gotten anywhere in school, straight C- student that he was.

"Anyways, what's this game youse guys are talking about? Trut' and dare? Man, don't think I've played dat game since grade school. Back when dey had the stupid double dog dares. Can't even count how many bugs I ate because of dem idiots." He rubbed the back of his head. "Course, I guess none of youse guys would do dat to me on a day like dis. You're all more mature dan dat, right?"

Hiro was the next to enter the room. It looked like a lot of people were getting in on this game. He walked up to group. "Hey, everybody! How're things? Sounds like you guys are really getting a party started here. I thought that was going to only happen in the ballroom or something."

He walked over to Ami's side as he saw her. "So, how're things going for you, Ami? And just what are they planning to play? It must be good to get this many people excited, and as a toy company owner, of course I have to know what makes such a popular game."

Toyo looked quite cross as she entered the library. She had been enjoying a cup of hot green tea, when somebody's shouts had made her jump and spill it all over herself. Needless to say, she was not happy, but she had changed into a different kimono, before coming to such a public area. It was simply frustrating. "Aren't people suppose to relax and behave languidly on days like this?"

Then she listened in on the game that everyone was apparently ready to play. She placed her hands on her hips. She wasn't sure what a dare was, but she had nothing to hide as far as the truth went. She smiled to herself, her competitive nature arising in her as she walked over to the group. "So how does one play this 'truth or dare'?"

[Dawn]

"Alright the ladies want to play. Rex likes a challenge." Rex said before taking a seat. "Now how are we going to determine who goes first?" That was the real question, in all honesty he thought he should go first since he came up with the game but he didn't want to be a mooch. "How about, one of the ladies, after all ladies are meant to go first."

"Well aren't you the charmer?" Dawn smirked. So this was the guy May had met during the rainy day. He was cute, not to mention he seemed nice enough. "Um, how about...." she paused. "How about you." she pointed to Rita "Choose your victium."

Madoka gave an uneasy smile before turning to Toyo. "It's an easy game, many of my classmates did it when the teacher wasn't looking, pretty much you go around the room, asking people to choose either truth or dare, if they choose truth, they have to answer a question about themselves without lying, but dares are the fun part because the questioner has to come up with a challenge for the other person to do, and they have to do it."

[May]

May had entered the library, with not much to do really, it was a depressing, rainy day, a rather rare site in the normally sunny, beautiful vacation island. Rainy just like the day she met Rex, but it did end up being a great day after all. Because of the wet conditions, there was nothing that may enjoyed more than shopping, after a day of buying clothes and jewerely, May decided to go to the library and relax.

Despite having attentions to just rest and relax, it didn't look like that was in her favor. May noticed a bunch of people in the library, but two that quickly got her attention, her friend Dawn and Rex, the boy she met a few days ago.

She walked over to them, still feeling a bit weird about seeing Rex again. "Hey guys." she said.

[Rex]

Rex smiled at the familar face and gave a small wave. "Hey there, May. You come to join us? We're playing truth or dare. We are just waiting for this chica to pick her very first victim." he pointed to Rita with a smirk, almost as if waiting for someone to challenge that statement, even her.

[Rita Mordio]

One thin reddish-brown eyebrow cocked slightly as Rita slipped from being generally unwilling to play to just plain irritated. Why was she being the one picked to pick a victim? She knew no one in the room besides Rapunzel! But, it didn't look like she could get away with setting Rex ablaze for picking her. With so many books and other flammable objects, she knew that setting fire to something would only cause problems. So, annoyed though she was, Rita shrugged her shoulders and stepped forward at last to join the group. She stopped when she was standing beside Rapunzel and let one arm drop to her side while her other hand went to her hip. She didn't particularly care what the others thought of her appearance, mainly since she still had her blanket wrapped around part of her, so long as she got to torment someone.

Green eyes scanned the room for a long moment, meeting the brilliant blue irises of Hubert and quickly darting away to the green gaze of Rapunzel and then to the brown gaze of May. Picking someone from a grouping of strangers was proving more difficult than Rita had anticipated. Finally, though, it looked like she had selected her victim. She pointed to Madoka and smirked slightly.

"You. Truth or dare?"

[Madoka]

Madoka blinked in surprise, why did she have to be picked first? Was this fate's cruel way of trying to show her that she should have just stayed at home. With a sigh, she placed a finger on her lip and tapped it, thinking on what she wanted to do. On one hand, she didn't want to be considered a coward for not taking dare but there was the chance that the dare could be really scary. "Um...I guess i pick...Dare."

Did she just say dare? Why did she just say Dare? Why? "Yeah...dare." she was only hoping she wouldn't regret the descions

[Rita Mordio]

Now that Rita had a better look at Madoka, she did remember meeting her before. She chose not to say anything on that matter, though, as she was beginning to finally enjoy herself when her supposed victim made her choice. It was easy to see the satisfaction on Rita's face. The smirk grew and she chuckled softly to herself. Oh, if only Madoka knew what she was getting herself into by picking that option. Rita could be fairly cruel when she wanted to be, and she didn't think she ought to go easy on Madoka just because she was a friend of sorts. And so, the game began officially as Rita thought of what Madoka could do.

"Okay, you asked for it. I dare you... to kiss him."

Rita pointed decisively toward Hubert, and the blue-haired teen in question froze. Rita could only barley contain her laughter as she watched his face turn red and his mouth drop open. She hadn't known why she had been so opposed to the idea of playing the game before. Now she got to watch people squirm!

Why me? Why is it always me??

It was bad enough that Hubert had only just barely gotten out of being kissed by Cheria under similar circumstances when he, she, and Asbel were children. Now he was essentially an adult and found himself in the same situation all over again. It was enough to render Hubert utterly speechless. Oh, when it came time for his turn to pick a victim... there would be justice. He didn't know how there would be, but he'd think of something.

[Madoka]

Madoka's cheeks turned bright pink, almost as bright as her hair. Kiss? She had never kissed let alone hugged a guy before. Sure, she had seen girls and boys do it at her new school but she had never done it herself. Oh she just had to go and pick dare. She looked over at Hubert and her eyes clearly said sorry. Slowly she got up, and walked over to him before kissing him on the cheek. It wasn't a long kiss, but a kiss none the less. After all, the girl had never said where she had to kiss him.

"Alright Pinky, your turn." Rex said with a smirk. Rita was cruel at this game.

"Um...okay...uh...you." she said pointing to Robin. "Truth or Dare?"

[Robin]

Was that really directed at him? He looked at the pink haired girl who'd just kissed the blue haired kid on the cheek. She couldn't be serious...could she? He sighed and thought it over. Truth could be bad with half his team and Blackfire there.

"Dare," he said simply.

[Madoka]

Now that was going to be hard. Now she actually ahd to think of a dare for the boy to do. "I dare you to..." she had to think of the best thing and the worst most possible thing for him to actually do, she wasn't a horrible person for wanting to have fun to. "I dare you to go into her closet," she pointed to Dawn. "And find the most girly-pretty dress in there and wear it for the rest of the night."

She smiled and crossed her arms over her chest. Dawn on the other hand, was giggling like crazy.

[Robin]

"You've got to be kidding me," Robin said, a angry tick starting in his jaw. That was just cruel, he was hating this stupid game more and more. Looking at Dawn he gave her a very angry grin. "Point the way."

[Hubert]

Hubert felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment when Madoka had gone through with Rita's dare, and for the few moments that followed he just stood there in stunned silence. It was very fortunate that Pascal wasn't present to see what had taken place, otherwise she would be laughing insanely or gushing over how adorable the situation had been. Or... something. Hubert didn't know. He was just glad that the spotlight had been taken off of him and put on to Robin, who also chose to do a dare. What followed, simply put, left Hubert just as stunned as before. She couldn't have been serious. That would just be downright humiliating!

What have we gotten ourselves in to? Hubert wondered. Even if he did think it would be humiliating seeing Robin in a dress, Hubert did have to admit that the idea was humorous. He couldn't help but chuckle softly after a moment, while Rita nearly doubled over with laughter. Now that things had stopped focusing on him, maybe he would be able to enjoy the rest of the game.

[Madoka]

Madoka gave a tiny smile. "Sorry but you said dare. There's nothing more i can do.." she gave a tiny wave before Dawn gave him an apologetic smile before standing up and walking towards the hallway to the room. Of course she had many many things in her closet, and about half of it made up girly things, and not to mention most of them were picked out by Jasper.
