Thoughts of a teen

[Haru]

(July 28 open to anyone who wish to come. This is my first thread in a while so I might be rusty.)
Haru lying in the sand looking at the key he was given. Find that special someone? He never really thought about it until now. He's always herd from his sister that he'd find someone but didn't think on it. Now that he was thinking about it. He was nervous. Sure he looked decent with his spikey sliver hair and clothes. He was never much of a ladies man. He always believed in being honest with people. He didn't know anything about dating and stuff like that. He sighed to himself as a thought went through his head. 'How am I going to find that special someone.' He got back to his feet and pulled out his large sword from his back. He started to swing his sword cut the air training to past the time.

[Paige]

Paige thought it was a perfect day to just relax and sulk on the beach. Glorious golden sun and clear blue skies with only whispy white clouds in sight, it was perfect. And it had been the first time she had relaxed in a while, too much stress and work in her life, it was nice to take a break, that was was she was here after all. And to find love, something that she had ran out of luck with.

Paige put down her beach towel against the soft, white sand and layed down to absorb nature's rays. It was a strange sound cutting the air that caused her to look up, sunglasses on her nose. The boy, looking slightly younger than himself was a bit odd looking in terms of attire. But the blonde had seen many strange things since arriving on the paradise island.

"Hey, could you stop that?" she asked, not really trying to sound rude. "I'm trying to rest here."

[Falco]

Falco was taking a nap on the beach. He has not even really thought about the whole true love thing much since he arrived, since he really didn't care much. Only reason Falco even cared is because he found out that he can't leave the island until he finds his "true love". After Falco woke up he decided to walk across the beach. Soon Falco saw a silver, spiky haired kid swinging a sword in the air. Falco has to admit this kid seems to be skilled with the sword. "You're good with that sword, kid. But I bet it wouldn't help in a firefight," Falco said in a cocky tone while walking towards Haru and spinning one of his blasters on his finger before putting it back in its holster.

[Haru]

Haru made another swing with his sword when he herd a soft voice behind him. He turned around to see a blonde hair girl that looked to be a couple years older. She was a beautiful sight to see. He shook his head a little as he put his sword on his back again. He gave her a big grin while scratching the back of his head. "Heh, sorry about that. I thought I was alone." He checked to see if it was secure. When felt it was walked towards her, his grin not leaving his face. "Hi, I'm Haru Glory. Do you mind if I sit next to you? It's alright if you say 'no'." He gestured to the spot next to where she placed her towel. He felt a little nervous, he didn't want to offend this girl.

[Paige]

Paige had to admit the smile was a bit creepy, the only ones who gave her a smile like that were J.T and any dork who knew they didn't have a chance with her. But this guy was a stranger and he seemed friendly, so why not?

"Sure." she replied with a weak grin and looked down at the spot beside her. She then looked up at Falco and his blaster."Whoa, bird boy be careful with that thing." he said a light hearted warning.

[Haru]

Haru turned to see Falco twirling his blaster around. Haru just shook his head. "Well this isn't exactly a regular sword but I won't argue about it." He turned back to the blond girl and smiled at her as he sat down on the sand next to her. She seemed nice if she let him sit next to her. He then put his hands behind his head as he laid down on the sand looking at the clear blue sky. He gave out a small yawn before looking at the sky. He looked at the girl again as her gave a small smile. "So what's your name? I already told you mine." He chuckled a little at the comment he made. She may consider him rude later but hey he was getting to know someone.

[Falco]

"Not trying to start an argument, kid," Falco said to Haru. "And don't worry, the blaster wouldn't have fired, the safety is on," Falco added to Paige. Before Falco could say anything else he saw the two sit next to each other and start talking. Falco, guessing he wasn't wanted, lied down under a nearby tree to take a nap.

[Paige]

Her name, well wasn't kinda early for him to ask that question? They only exchanged two sentences to each other. But he did say his name, so it was a fair question.

"Uh, nice to meet you Haru, I'm Paige, Paige MichaelChuck." she gave a faint smile back, what kinda name was Haru anyway? Was it Japanese or Korean or anything like that. "So, hon what are you doing here? Here to find love like everyone else?" she asked.

[Haru]

Haru smiled as he learned the girls name. "Nice to meet you Paige." He sat up to look her in the eye. He gave a small laugh about the second question. "Well I wouldn't be here if I wasn't." He rembered the fact that he couldn't leave until he did find his 'true love' so to speak. He laid back down on the sand as he gave out another small laugh. "To be honest I never thought about it until now. I mean I've herd the 'you'll find someone' speech. I just didn't think about it. So what about you? You find someone yet?" He gave her a look that screamed curious. He wasn't trying to be rude he genuinely curious if she found someone. It made sound like he was desperate. He just met her and he was asking if she found someone. "Sorry I didn't mean to ask that." He looked down at his shoes in shame.

[Paige]

At first, Paige thought the question was a bit strange, as well as straight foward. Seeing how nervous the boy was looked at him."Not yet, but hopefully I'll find him soon." she said, looking down then at the endless mass a of blue before her.

When it came to love, Paige wasn't exactly lucky. There were so many times when her pride and personal goals came before others, she always forgot about what she truly had. She then forced a smile out at Haru. "Don't worry hon, it's fine, I can tell you're nervous."

[Haru]

Haru chuckled when he herd her say he was nervous. Boy was she right. In fact it was almost an understatement. How was he going find a girl that liked him. "That's true. I am nervous. I mean I'm no expert on love or girls and all that. Kinda makes me wish my sister was around." He continued to look at the clear blue sky. He always loved looking at the sky. There was no problems to deal with up there. He turned to look at Paige again with his purple eyes. She was a pretty girl, there was no denying that. But she wouldn't like him. He sat up again and pulled out his large sword. He looked at the blade as it reflected the sun. "Hey Paige. Do you really think I'll find someone? I'm not what you might call normal."

[Paige]

Paige stared at Haru's blade for a few moments, uncertain of what he was gonna do with it. A wave of relief hit her as the male simply shone the blade into the sunlight observing it. He also didn't seem like the type to randomly kill someone anyway.

She was still looking at the blade, Paige didn't know what exactly to tell Haru. "Sorry hon, but you're never gonna find love."? That seemed to harsh and plus, that was probably something she would've said if she was younger, not now.

She let out a sigh and looked at Haru. "Hon, or course you will. There's always someone looking for love."

[Haru]

Haru sighed as he put his sword back. That made him feel a little bit better. Though he still had some doubts about it. It wasn't as simple to find a girl and fall for her. If only it were that simple. He laid back down on the sand. Without looking at Paige he spoke to her. "Thanks Paige. You're pretty cool. I thought I was boring you to death listening to my problems. But you're a nice girl and I think that's cool." He smiled still looking at the clear blue sky.

[Paige]

"You're welcome hon." Paige smiled and then glared back up at the clear sky. Not really sure what to say, Paige gave out a small huff and spoke. "So hon, where are you from?" she asked. From what the blonde could tell right now, it had to be interesting.

[Lucy/Nyu]

Nyu walked along the water, her hair blowing with the wind. The three on the sand seemed like a fun group, but she wasn't sure if she should run over and talk to them. The blonde girl was really pretty, and the boy with the silver hair seemed to enjoy talking to her. Who was she to run in and interrupt that? Maybe she could talk to the bird man, but he slightly scared her. Not that her horns didn't scare others.

While she wasn't paying attention, she'd gotten a lot closer to the water than she thought. The cold water touched her feet and she let out a loud scream. Looking down she realized it was just water. Laughing brightly she ran in ankle deep and started splashing around. Glancing up at the trio she smiled and waved, cupping her hand around her mouth.

"HEY! Come join! The water is great, ~nyu!"
