The TV series got announced... some time last year, I think. And as soon as Heather got mentioned, I knew there'd be a problem. It's apparently impossible to introduce a new female character without making her some kind of love interest. I'd have no problem if she fell for Snotlout, seeing as he's forever alone in my headcanon, but why do they have to try and break up Hiccup/Astrid?
Ugh... I really want to like this show. I really do. But this is just a stupid move on their part.

Yes, right behind you xD I'm hoping she's just a succubus/siren and that Astrid has to go in and save Hiccup's ass (Please let that be the case x() But with CN, who knows. This is why I dislike TV adaptions xP
I still can't get over the fact that her name is Heather, either xP

Extremely vikingly name. At first, I thought they threw Heather from TDI in there, then I saw the link. Very discouraging to watch the show.

Yeah, as soon as I saw the name Heather, thought straight away of Heather from TDI. Geez, is she that annoyed about loosing the grand prize that she has to go and ruin someone else's life because of it? XD
