[Atticus]

(Open to all, July 8th.)

"Uh. Uh. What-what-what!" Atticus gave a little boom boom with his body as he got close to the pool. It was strange to him, but what was a body of water? He went to jump inside but hesitated, testing the water's temperature. It was warm! Just like everything else on this god forsaken iceberg. He frowned and stretched his little wings.

"S'okay, Fluffy don't float anyways." He sat beside the pool and then stood up. He wanted to try and find his heart song! He took a deep breath and closed his eyes like his Daddy had taught him.

He started to rap but the words that came out wasn't his heart song; just another rap on the little penguin's voice.

"On your mark ready set let's go
Dance floor pro I know you know
I go psycho when my new joint hit
Just can't sit
Got to get jiggy with it
Ooh that's it!!"

So enthralled with his dance moves he wouldn't notice a soul creeping up on him.

[Hiccup]

It wasn't so much the sight of the penguin that had attracted Hiccup's attention. No, it was the fact that Atticus appeared to be singing that got Hiccup to really take notice of him. If his odd-sounding footsteps hadn't given away Hiccup's presence, it probably was the sound of his stepping in a small puddle that had formed near the pool. He wasn't all that keen on swimming right then, mainly because he didn't want to bring up how awkward he would appear in swimming attire on top of having to remove his prosthetic so it didn't get rusty from the water. Instead, Hiccup just wanted to mingle with anyone that was present in the area. It seemed like he didn't have much of a choice in the matter, after all. He was pretty much stuck there with everyone else. Hiccup had decided that he needed to at least make the most of the situation.

"What are you doing?" Hiccup asked. Under normal circumstances he probably wouldn't have tried to speak to an animal. However, it appeared as though he and the others were capable of speaking with animals in the strange place. Maybe it was just some magical property about the place. If Toothless was there and if Hiccup could finally communicate with his best friend... well, it would have been nice. It seemed unlikely, though. So he would settle with speaking with Atticus. "I didn't think anyone would come to a place like this to be alone. Much less start... uh... singing?" he asked.

[Derpy Hooves]

"WHOOAAA!"

A clumsy pegasus yelled as she narrowly avoided crash landing into the pool, of course not before crashing into a nearby bush. After a few seconds, the pony emerged from the bushes with a goofy grin. "I'm okay!" she exclaimed with one hoof in the air, before walking over to Atticus and Hiccup. What was the penguin doing? Singing? Well, whatever it was, it looked like fun.

"Heya, whatcha doing?" Derpy asked as she flew over to the two.

[Tigress]

Kitty had been napping on a patch of sunlight coming in from one of the window, enjoying what quiet there was. A loud shout had woken her from her slumber and she snapped her head up with a surprised expression, only to se a grey and blonde figure streak through the air..only to land in a nearby bush. Feline winced slightly, imagining that a freefall in to a bush wasn't a very pleasant experience. As the Odd looking horse popped out of the bush with a doofy looking grin, Kitty couldn't help but smile herself as she got up and walked over towards Hiccup and the others with a curious expression, boots softly clicking against the tile floor. A Human, a fluffy looking chick and some sort of winged horse?

"What an odd crowd..." She mused, glancing over to the Human first before looking over to the Penguin and Derpy. "So, what's going on and why wasn't I invited?" She joked, giving a friendly smile, paws on hips.

[Blackfire]

Blackfire, clad in her black bikini and carrying her Syrulian cotton towel, walked down towards the pool. At least this island didn't turn out to be a deserted dirt patch. It certainly had a great deal of accomodations. She shielded her eyes as she looked up at the sun. "The weather sure is great around here, too!"

She slowed as she neared the pool. She ground her teeth as her eyes began glowing purple! "Animals! Oh great! Now the water's going to get all furry and gross!" She fumed. "Honestly, who thought it was a good idea to let them in the pool? As if I didn't have enough to worry about!" Really, she had been hoping for a private dip and tanning session, after all.

[mati]

Ma-ti walked out hearing someone sing. He turned seeing it was a penguin and he'd gained an audience of a cat, a pony, and a boy. He then saw a strange girl hearing her complain about the animals. This girl seemed so heartless or maybe she was spoiled. Either way he didn't want to hang out with someone who hated animals. He walked by heading over to the group as he turned to the boy.

"Hi. I'm Ma-ti." said Ma-ti.

He paused glancing at the singing penguin wondering why he was in such a warm climate instead of the North Pole or a zoo where it was cooler.

[Scootaloo]

It didn't take too long for another Pegasus pony to fly over she was just as bad when it came to flying as Derpy was if not worse because she couldn't really fly because of very tiny wings. "Look Out " Scootaloo said as she tried to fly herself straight and just crash landed into the pool. Scootaloo shook off her mane and smiled sheepishly at the others. "Sorry about that I am not so good with flying and landing, my name's Scootaloo" Scootaloo said paddling over to the group in an effort to introduce herself.

[Tigress]

An ear shifted in Blackfire's direction and the Cat heaved and sigh with a roll of her eyes. Looking over in her direction before giving a sickeningly sweet smile, Kitty crossed her arms. "You do realize that there are some animals with a little more class? I doubt the pool would still get dirty if it was just you running around." She replied, smile turning in to a frown. She met some people with the Woman's attitude before, but she never really managed to talk to one up close.

Her head suddenly snapped over to the pool as an orange and purple-ish blur dove right in to it, and the cat scooted out of the way to avoid behind hit with a wave of water. As she watched another winged Pony pop herself out of the water, the Feline couldn't help but give an understanding grin, partially relieved that the young one didn't seem to be hurt anywhere. "Don't worry about it, pequeno. I'm sure you'll get those wings in to flying form in no time." she replied. She always did have a bit of a soft spot for kids. Kitty's smile grew a bit bigger as the Pony trotted over and introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, Scootaloo. I'm Kitty."

Ma-Ti gasped in shock seeing the animals talk. They hadn't talked before even when he used his ring he spoke to them telepathically. But then again he worked for the spirit of the earth, could read minds, and helped summon Captain Planet to stop the eco villains on a regular basis. So talking animals seemed almost normal by comparison.

"Hello Scootaloo. Hello Kitty. Nice to meet you both. I'm Ma-ti." said Ma-ti.

[Ursula]

Ursula came strolling in like hse owned the pool. Dark blue bikini fit her body perfectly like a glove and she cared a pink towel over her shoulder. Her eyes narrowed at the sight of all the animals. Great. Now she wouldn't have any time to tan with all the smelly creatures running around. With a sniff of her nose, she turned to who appeared the only woman with her at the pool. "Let me guess, you don't like the animals here either."

[Ariel]

Another, much less mean, redhead made her way to the pool in a light purple swimsuit top and green swim trunks. She shrugged when she heard Ursula and Blackfires complaints about the animals. "I don't know what's wrong with it." she said. "It's not like the pool isn't big enough for everyone!" She said with a bright smile as she dived into the water gracefully and swam a little ways before flipping back out. If there was one thing Ariel loved it was the water. She was on the swim team back at school. She wasn't as enthusiastic about it as her father might have wished, but that wasn't exactly her problem was it.

"The waters great!" She said as she floated to the side of the pool. "I'm Ariel." She said, blushing a bit as she realized she'd forgotten to say her name before jumping in the pool.

[Ursula]

"Name's Ursula." she was not about to say her last name. After all hse got rid of that after her disgraceful loser brother made her family a laughing stock. "You seem to be in an awfully good mood for being stuck in this mansion until you find your "prince charming..." she stuck out her tounge in disgust.

[Scootaloo]

Scootaloo smiles but tries not to show off his Confusion . "Pequeno" What was that Alien for? She had never really taken much time in learning Spanish or anything. "Uhhh, thanks I think." Scootaloo said with a smile. At least from the way she was talking it didn't really sound like an insult.

"All right later you have to go to the Library and find out what this "Pequeno" thing meanS" Scootaloo said in her head the smile never leaving her face. "It's nice to meet you too Kitty" Scootaloo said.

Ignoring the 2 humans, but when the red haired human jumped into the water. Scootaloo smiles, she seemed to be the friendliest human here at the moment (that Scootaloo had actually met anyway) "Hi, Ariel, my name's Scootaloo" Scootaloo said.

[Derpy Hooves]

"Wow!" Derpy mused as a bunch of others arrived onto the scene. She looked around till she saw a younger pegasus. With goofy eyes. Derpy flew into the fellow pony most likely crashing into her.

"Hey, are you from Ponyville too?" she asked.

[Scootaloo]

Scootaloo smiled as she saw Derpy "Hi, I'm Scootaloooooooooooooffffffffffffffffffffff" She said as she was crashed into by Derpy Hooves and fell into the water with a splash. A few moments later Scootaloo surfaced choking on some water she had swallowed by accident. "I thought I recognized you from somewhere. You're the Pegasus that helped Rainbow Dash with City Hall right? My name's Scootaloo, what's your name"? Scootaloo asked politely with a wide smile.
