[Jack Spicer]

(July 28th. Open to everyone. Sorry about that title, I couldn't resist)

Numerous motherboards, joysticks, and other video games related electronics and controllers were strewed across the floor as Jack Spicer was ripping apart video games looking for parts he could use to make robots. "No. No. This is useless. This might be useful," the pale teen said as her put a component into a small pile of junk next to him. He continued tearing the arcade machine piece from piece completely oblivious to the world. He doesn't even notice when someone walks up to him, most likely curious about what he was doing.

[Batty Koda]

(Trying to jump back in to this thing, so chucking Batty in here.)

Batty usually stayed far away from Humans, and quite frankly, he missed Ferngully. Less Humans, more familiar skies, and as such he stuck to the forests surrounding the building. However, something had lured the fruit bat inside the house, and the frequencies in his head buzzed and flickered as he flew throughout the halls. Shaking his head to clear it, Batty attempted to block them out as he flew, though to be quite honest he didn't really know where he was going, and instead shut his eyes and let his ears guide him. When he landed, he cracked open his eyes and looked around, then frowned. "Oh, good, I was beginning to worry this place wasn't ostentatious enough.." He murmured. Batty found himself perched on top of some sort of machine, something he managed to identify as an arcade machine, surrounded by various other electronics. They had those where those stupid scientists took their breaks.

The fruit bat narrowed his eyes hatefully at the object as his claws dug in to the hard metal and plastic, and another frequency buzzed in his head and mumbling was heard. Batty's eye twitched as he turned, spotting an oddly colored Human taking bits and pieces of a few other games apart and setting a few components in to separate piles, and the bat frowned despite his heart naturally speeding up, resisting the urge to flee. He hadn't even realized he had landed so close to the red-haired Human, practically able enough to reach out and touch his leg with a wingtip if he wanted, though the Human hadn't seemed to notice him. Who was even born with red hair anyway? Or white skin? Well, albino's had paler skin, but with this one he wasn't sure. Batty caught himself staring at the Human's hair, twitching again as his antennae sparked as Jack took another electronic device apart, his antennae sending him a series of bleeps and clicks. Silently, Batty watched Jack for a few minutes before he blurted out, "So, whatcha makin' there, Human?"

[Madoka]

Madoka poked her head into the game room, having never been in one before, it was impressive however, what she saw next was a bit more confusing to her. There seemed to be a boy making something. Blinking her pink eyes, at both the bat and the human. She cleared her throat. "Um.hello.."she said. "Wh-what are you doing?"

[Kimiko]

Kimiko was bored. She thought of going for a swim, but decided against it. Things were...awkward, lately. She found herself not hating Chase. That was unacceptable. And god forbid if Rai ever found out. She figured the best way to go back to hating him was to avoid him. It was better than seeing him again, anyways. She decided to go to the the game room for the fiftieth time. She'd beaten every game in here, except for one. That was the curse of being a video game tycoon's daughter.

She walked in there and raised an eyebrow at what she saw. She didn't pay any mind to the pink-haired girl or the...was that a bat? What she payed attention to was Jack taking apart the one game she hadn't beaten yet. "Jack! What are you doing?!" She demanded. "I was one level away from beating that game." She said, glaring at him and waiting for an answer.

[Batty Koda]

Batty flinched as his antennae gave another series of clicks, only louder and took a few steps back as he noticed another Human...no there were two of them in the room now. His antennae gave off another series of sparks, he figured iit was mostly due to all of the electronics in one small space. He glanced suspiciously over at the pink haired one before his gaze turned back over to the pile of objects and shiny material, then back to another Human he hadn't noticed before. All of a sudden..he felt cramped. Like back in his cage. Bat gave a small shiver, expression flashing a mix of fear and bitterness for a few seconds as he watched the three Humans, remaining on his perch on top of an overturned arcade game, thankfully shut off. "The one time I let my ears lead the way and this is where it g-gets me. Stupid, stupid ears..." He mumbled. "Darwin must be laughing in his grave right now. Or rolling. Or playing poker when he's not laughing.."

The black haired one spoke up, and Batty caught the expression of recognition on her, well He figured it was a her, face as he watched her. Maybe the artificial looking one and the red clothed one knew each other? Batty scoffed, shaking his head to ward off another bout of transmissions. He didn't exactly care how. What he found weird was that he was actually talking to any Humans at all. Batty winced as the black haired Human seemed to yell at the other, waiting for a small pause before he himself spoke up, tone deadpan.

"Game? No, Lady, what's a game is Life. It's like one big manic jigsaw puzzle, only Life's dog decided it would be fun to tear up the box and Life ends up losing all of the pieces when he moves out of his Mom's basement," He replied, ears twitching towards the pink haired girl before looking back to the black haired one and the paler male, "As for whatever that one seems to be doing, it can't be any good, " He said, nudging his head in Jack's direction, though it was more of an over-exaggerated twitch, "Like everything else you Humans make..." He said, allowing himself to trail off so any of the others could speak if they wanted.

[Derpy Hooves]

"Whoaaaa!" A voice exclaimed as streak of tan and blonde came sailing into the game room at high speeds. "Look out!" The airborne pegasus exclaimed as she went crashing head first into a shelf full of video games. "I'm okay!" Derpy exclaimed, picking herself up, still a bit dizzy from her accident.

When she finally regained her senses, the clumsy pony looked over to see a group, mostly consisting of humans and one flying thing, like her!

"Heya, watcha doing?" The crossed-eyed pegasus asked walking over to them, clearly excited.

Jack was oblivious to the bat and the pink-haired girls question, it was Kimiko's yell that made him realize that there was other people in the room. "Ahh!" Jack let out what was probably the most girly scream that those three will hear. When Jack jumped with fright he hit his head hard against the arcade machine. "Owwww," Jack moaned as he carefully got his head out of the inside of the arcade machine. Jack started whimpering when he saw that Kimiko was the one who yelled and from Jack's experience that could only mean that he was about to get a beating.

Before Jack could even explain what he was doing the bat said something that made no sense at all. "I thought Omi was hard to understand," Jack said. As he was about to explain himself again some strange horse like, grey colored creature ran straight into the wall. Jack just stared at the horse for a bit before finally explaining himself. "Isn't obvious why I'd be taking apart anything electronic? I'm looking for parts to build robots," Jack said in a very timid sounding voice.

[Madoka]

"Robots?" Madoka tilted her head to the side. "I didn't know people could make robots. It looks interesting..." she stared at the bunch of metal that Jack had been working with. It seeemd very complicated to her. "Is it hard to do?"

[Derpy Hooves]

"Oooh," Derpy said as she walked over to Jack and the arcade machine. Building robots? Sounded like fun in the mind of the pegasus. Staring at the machine then back at Jack and the others, she put on a doofy grin.

"Can I help?" She asked. "Pretty pleeeeaaaase?" She asked, hoping up and down before falling on her rear.

Batty turned his attention from the others, instead to the redhead and flattened his ears with a small frown. "If I was any harder to understand then this 'Omi' you speak of, I'd be babbling in Russian. That's the real alien language right there..." He muttered, before shifting his attention back toward the subject at hands. So the red-haired Human was using these electronic parts to make Robots? Robots...The bat shivered a little, drawing his wings closer to himself out of fear.

His tone was jittery, fearful, yet full of bitterness. "R-robots, those things that act so much like you Humans. Numb from the brain down, the both of you..Can't feel empathy, can't feel anything for anything lower than yourselves!" He growled, before his antennae sparked again and he twitched, shifting his attention to the grey horse..with wings? Horses didn't have wings, right? It said it wanted to help the red-haired Human..Batty shook his head hard, letting go of his perch only to flap downwards, placing himself between the horse and the Human as he landed on the floor and narrowly avoided smacking right to the floor. Admittedly, while he found the winged horse to be a bit nutty in the head, he also found himself curious about her. What was she like? What was with the crossed eyes, the bubbles, the wings-? Was She some sort of experiment animal like him?

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold up there Blondie, take a few steps back for a moment. Robots are bad news..Anything they," he paused, gesturing to Jack with the tip of his wing, "Make, or even do, is bad news, you'd be better off just ignoring 'em completely unless you wanna end up being someone's next arts and crafts project...Speaking of, Blondie, what's with the wings?" He asked, ignoring another twitch as he pointed with a wingtip to Derpy's wings. "I thought your kind didn't have wings, just Hooves they use to kick people over bridges or something.."

[Derpy Hooves]

Before Jack could reply to Derpy, The goofy pegasus turned to the insane bat. What kind strange creature was he anyway? He had wings like herself, but hardly resembled a pony besides that. Still curious to what the strange creature was, as well as now not being to certain about robotics edged herself a little closer. "They are?" She asked, more curious as to what the bat was than his claim about how dangerous machines truly were.

In response to Batty's question about her wings, the winged mare smiled. "Oh, my wings, I was born with these, Well, I least I think so..." She trailed off, looking behind at her wings. Because Derpy wasn't exactly the brightest bulb in the bunch, she wasn't too sure if wings were normal oon ponies, a good majority of pegasai existed in Ponyville, and Cloudsdale, so they had to be normal, right?

Derpy then cocked her head at Batty. "And what are you supposed to be? You don't look like anypony I've seen."

(OoC: Let's see if I can get back into the swing of things)

"Making robots is super easy when you're an Evil Genius," Jack said to Madoka in an extremely cocky tone. "No, you can't help. You would probably just destroy the robots," Jack said to the grey pegasus noticing that every one of her movements seems to cause destruction. With Jack's luck the grey, winged horse what somehow cause nuclear fusion or nuclear fission and kill them all.

"Hey! Some humans aren't numb from the brain down!" Jack yelled in a rather pathetic sounding voice at the bat. "Also, don't tell my robots that, most of them have emotion chips standard now," Jack added. "Not all humans are that bad. I am though, you have to be bad to take over and rule the world!" the pale teen said with a not so subtle tone of pride in his voice. "He is a bat, basically a rodent with wings," Jack answered Derpy's question, obviously intending to mock Batty. Jack noticed that Kimiko hasn't said anything in a bit. "What's wrong Kimiko? Did Raimundo's key not fit your lock?" Jack said, taunting Kimiko, not realizing that was probably a huge mistake.

[Batty Koda]

Batty rolled his eyes as Jack spoke up again in reply to him, taking note of the pride in his voice when he mentioned that you'd have to be bad in order to take over the world. "Right, right, and I'm the President. I mean, look at this," He snapped, pressing his ears back as he poked one claw at the antennae sticking out of his head. Said antennae sparked and Batty twitched again, perking his ears straight.

For a moment he looked as thought he had been electrocuted, snapping his wings out before shaking his head with a yelp of pain, ears snapping upwards. There was the small sound of a radio changing channels for a moment. "All of our cosmetics are non-carcinogenic--No!--" His antenna sparked again and Batty'shifted again in to a calm expression and he gestured towards a blank space with his wings. "If all of the Laboratory students will gather forward-N-no! Enough!" Bat shivered as his antenna sparked again, squeezing his eyes shut and grabbing his ears, then yanking on them for a few seconds and muttering to himself as he tried to get all of these other frequencies in his head under control, trying to get himself set back on his own 'channel'. Shaking his head, Batty panted a little, snapping his eyes open before turning on Jack again, teeth bared as he let go of his ears. "..You think nature did this?!" He growled, gesturing carefully to the antenna on his head. "D'ya think I put this in to get better reception? No, You Humans just..Ugh!" He growled, crossing his 'arms over his chest. "Worst. Species. Ever." He muttered.

As he overheard Jack's 'rat with wings' comment, Batty folded his wings over himself as he turned back to Derpy with a small smile. "You heard Gothboy over there, and as much as I hate to admit that something with the IQ of an anvil is right, I'm a Bat, a nocturnal placental mammal of the order pterodidae, or ptero-didn't-I," He said, giving a small chuckle towards Derpy. "And uh, what're you?"

Derpy gave a small frown at the rising tension between, Jack and Batty. The winged mare didn't like conflicts, or arguing for that matter, mostly because she usually blamed herself for it, even though usually she wasn't the main cause of it. She then looked at the mentally detoariated bat as he spoke about humans harshly. "I bet their not that bad...." She told herself, recalling some of the friendly humans she had met during her stay here. But after seeing the strange antenna on the bat's head. "Oh," She said, feeling bad for the winged mammal.

But those feelings soon faded as Batty focused his attention back at her. "Oooh, what's a bat?" She asked, curiosity welling in her cross eyes. "I'm a pony, or what some ponies call me a pegasus." She nodded rapidly with goofy pride.
