(ooc: August 22nd. Open to all!)
Hidden within the leaves of a large oak tree, Mew found herself observing the gardens for what felt like the millionth time. It seemed to be a place that the silly humans frequented. Not that Mew was complaining, though. She liked knowing that people had a place they enjoyed frequenting. But what could Mew do with that knowledge? She fiddled with the lock and the key around her neck, invisible brow creasing slightly as if in thought, and rolled over onto her back as she began to float above the branch she had been sitting on. Bored little legendary was bored. She wanted to do something.
Come on. There has to be someone there.
Mew glanced downward again in the hopes of seeing someone to play a prank on. Unfortunately, she was met with the same sight of no one there. Disappointment was evident in the cat-like Pokemon's blue eyes. When was something worthwhile going to happen? Her tiny pointed ears twitched a tiny bit after a moment, though, as she thought she heard the sound of footsteps heading the direction of the tree. Or maybe she was imagining things. The only way to find out, though, was to wait. And so Mew did just that. Time to see what was going to happen.

Red was bored out of his mind. He tried to find a spot on this island he hasn't explored yet and has not been successful. During his first few days on the island he chose to avoid everyone on island, Red isn't much of a people person at all. Why else would he have spent three years training on a mountain with almost no contact with other humans?
Red and his Pikachu, sometimes it refuses to stay in its Poke Ball, were in the gardens admiring the flowers again. The gardens brought back memories of Celadon City; winning the Rainbow Badge, defeating Team Rocket in their HQ, and, strangely enough, being falsely accused of peeping by a trainer in the Celadon Gym. Red leaned against a tree while letting the memories flood back and watching his Pikachu play in the flowers.

A boy and his Pikachu... how very interesting.
Mew shifted positions once more, laying down on her branch and letting her long tail drape over her tiny body as she looked down to see what Red and his Pikachu were doing. It didn't look like much. Maybe she could prank him somehow. However, Mew knew she'd have to be cautious. If he had a Pikachu then he most definitely was a trainer. She'd be in danger if she was found out so easily. Fearing being captured, Mew decided it was time to change her appearance just in case she did get noticed.
It wasn't long before Mew was in the form of a little Meowth. Now she could more easily escape detection, right? Well, the tiny legendary thought it would be safe to start playing around with Red. She closed her eyes, almost like she was concentrating on something, and began to make his hat float into the air with her psychic powers.

In typical nature, Snivy had been sitting on a branch high up in a tree, watching the Gardens, waiting for nothing in particular. But it wasn't like Snivy didn't have a reason to be up in the tree. She mostly came up there to avoid the stupidity of some of the other guests. It was also a good place to relax and keep to herself, since most of the time was with someone, to the snake pokemon it was a getaway from the rest of the world.
As she was observing her surroundings, something caught her eye. She looked over to see a a mew.
A Mew?" She thought, couldn't believe what she was witnessing. What one Earth was the Legendary Ancestor of all pokemon doing here? True, Mew were native to Kanto, far from were Snivy came from in Unova, but Mew and the legends behind it where well-known in the pokemon universe.
The normally hard to impress pokemon was now impressed, her gaze quickly shifted over to the Pokemon trainer that had just arrived. He looked just like her trainer Ash, but the Grass Type knew all too well that he wasn't. She then looked back at the small Legendary pokemon that had just shifted into the form of a Meowth. Snivy just stood in her place and decided to see what would happen before she did anything hasty.
