(In the Pokemon series there are two characters named Red. One in the games and one in the manga)

Brief History: Red started his Pokemon journey when he was 11 years old. While traveling through out Kanto challenging the Gym Leaders he had numerous encounters with Team Rocket, which cumulated at the Silph Co. building where he caused Team Rocket to disband. Red continued his journey and defeated the Elite Four and defeated his rival, Blue, once again and became the Kanto Pokemon Champion. Red then traveled to the Sevii Islands and defeated some Team Rocket holdouts that were stationed there.
After that Red disappeared for three years. One day though, while training on Mt. Silver, Red was challenged by a kid from Johto and lost. Red suffered his first lost and left to keep training to defeat the kid from Johto until he received a letter and a strange key. He decided to go to the island figuring he could challenge other trainers.
Sample Post: Red wandered through out the island, having fully explored the island in only a few days. He has tried to catch some of the Pokemon running around but soon found out that any Pokemon he sees here belongs to someone. So far he has seen no other trainers, which struck him as odd. Red walked back towards the mansion hoping to find at least one other Pokemon Trainer on the island.
