I know I said I was going to take Romeo. But I re-watched this movie and took Laila again. So sue me. xD
Name: Laila
Age: Early 20's
Orientation: Straight, but leaning towards Bicurious.
Image:
Key/Lock Holder: Open.
Brief History: Laila was born a stray, and in her mind, always would be. Even though as the Local mob boss of Mumbai, Charlie Anna, took her in and gave her a Job, she never really felt like she belonged there. Yet she still was paid handsomely for her singing/dancing talents that Charlie run, and was provided with adequate protection from those who wished to do her harm via Charlie's goons. Over time, she began to notice the stares of other Dogs less and less, even moreso those of Charlie Anna, and focused only on her shows. Though as her shows continued, she had numerous attempts to fill some sort of missing part of her life. Her only request to those that offered their love, was to show up on stage and dance with her. That...was difficult, as Laila was 'Charlie's Girl', and Charlie had a a lot of influence. As such, no dog ever took her up on that offer, and Laila began to lose all hope.
That is, until Romeo waltzed in. At first, Laila though of Romeo as 'Just another street dog' and figured that Romeo wouldn't be so foolish as to jump up on stage. Boy was she wrong. However, Charlie Anna didn't like this, and as such, threatened Romeo with death if he didn't stay away from her.
After the events of 'Roadside Romeo', Laila lived a happy life..Until Romeo went missing. She waited for a few months before she made up her mind, receding back in to her usual, confident self, believing that love just wasn't worth it...Until a strange letter fell on her head.
Sample:
Ah-ah-ah aahhh-ah-ah, Ah-ah-ah aahhh- ah-ah~
How could one not dance on such a beautiful night such as this? The full moon shining over the waves, the sound of crickets, the tide and other fauna chirping or resting nearby...Laila grinned as she stepped forward and bent low, then sprang to perform a series of dance moves. The Locket gently thumped and swung against her chest with each move she made, practicing her last performance in Mumbai from memory and gently singing under her breath as her paws skipped across the sand in time with an unheard beat.
Dancing was the only thing that seemed to help her relax these days. This was what she needed. A chance to clear her head, a chance to find new love. Though she wondered where her Romeo had gone off to, at this moment she couldn't bring herself to care. There was only peace. She didn't want to think about love at the moment, though that was what she was here for. All of these new people, new faces...she just got a little stressed is all.
As she brought her hands to her sides again, a sudden crack of a stick made her jump and whirl around, eyes wide as it broke her concentration. "H-Hello?" She called, voice wavering slightly. She hadn't noticed she was being watched...
