Key/Lock Holder: Chase
Brief History: Kimiko grew up very privileged as the daughter of a video game tycoon. She always got all the latest games and beat them before they even came out. When she was 14 she was called to the Xiaolin Temple to train to be the dragon of fire. After the huge battle after the whole parallel universe fiasco, the Xiaolin won, but for safety reasons they re-scattered the Wu across the world again so not even the Heylin could find them without looking hard.
It was then that she received a letter from a mysterious person. Being who she is and what she does she was instantly suspicious, but went anyways. She’d been feeling less important lately and wanted to prove she could do things on her own. She was disappointed to find it was only a glowing woman trying to get her to find love. However she couldn’t leave, and after long Raimundo showed up. Being that they had both had crushes on each other at one point in time (though you’ll never find Kimiko willing to admit it), she only felt it logical to test her lock on him first.
She was both relieved and disappointed when it didn’t. She didn’t like him, but it would make this whole ordeal easier, that much was for sure. Of course, now she had to find the one who did fit with her, but it would not be easy.
Sample Post:
“Are you sure this is a good idea, Kim?”
“What have we got to lose? If it fits, then fine, it’ll be weird, but fine. If it doesn’t then we’re right back where we started.” She said with a shrug. She and Rai had been best friends for two years now, but it’d never turned into anything more. She’d admit that she knew of his feelings for her, and she’d felt them too at one point. But in all honestly, a relationship was the furthest thing from her mind when she was training.
He sighed. “Alright fine.” He didn’t sound like he wanted to do it. Not that she could blame him. Can you say awkward?
They brought the key and the lock together, anticipation clear on their faces. The two metal objects began to glow a soft pink color, and for a second she thought they would connect. However, the glowing ceased, and the lock and key began to reject each other when brought to close, like two magnets repelling.
She didn’t exactly know how to feel, but looking up it was clear there was a bit of disappointment on her best friends face. An apologetic smile was the best she could muster at the moment.
