Name: Wanderer
Age: Late 30's in Human Years
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Image:
Key/Lock Holder: Leafie, if by Miracle, someone here has seen the movie, if not then maybe someone cheery to balance with his badass, emo personality. Or someone of the same personality type.
Brief History: Wanderer pretty much grew up a normal duck life, his parents raised him in the glade, where he learned how to swim, fish and fly. When he was a teenager he met a pretty and sweet female mallard, the two soon fell in love. When Wanderer became an adult, he heard about a guard duck race be held. The duck the most physically fit would be chosen to become the new guard duck to protect the flock. Wanderer was victorious and became the new guard duck. With him as a guard duck, the flock was well-protected as Wanderer was considered one of the greatest guard ducks of his time, but there was one beast that had been making life difficult for the ducks. The notorious weasel had been terrorizing the flock for years, and Wanderer decided it was time to put an end to this. He fought the weasel, and after a long and dangerous battle, the fight ended in a tie as the weasel permanently damaged his wing, and Wanderer took out the weasel's eye, leaving them both with missing appendages. As a result, Wanderer left his guard duck position and was forced to live the rest of his days in the farmyard, as a result crushing his spirit and breaking him into the mysterious hardcore duck he is today.
One day, he met the escaped farm hen Leafie, after he saved her life from the weasel. Wanderer was completely oblivious to the crush Leafie had on him. Too bad she didn't know that he had a mate, his childhood love interest, and they had an egg together. It was that one night that stuck in the former guard duck's mind. The night the weasel invaded his home and killed his mate. Even though, it was too late, Wanderer followed the weasel, but she managed to get away. As a result, Wanderer vowed revenge on the monster that killed his love.
It was the next day, that Wanderer woke up in a strange new environment, with a key around his neck.
Sample Post: Wanderer stood atop of the porch, it was nighttime as the full, white moon shown down on him with disapproval.
If only he had arrived just a few seconds early, just a few, his beloved wouldn't have been the weasel's meal. "Hmm," the duck hummed to himself with little emotion. Wanderer didn't easily reveal his emotions, but if you did, it be a whole different story.
The ex-guard duck then looked up at the frowning moon and the stars in the crisp night sky. He sighed. Him having his wing forever ruined, losing the girl of his dreams, it was a-lot for him.
"I'm a failure." he muttered angrily, before stretching his one good wing and hoping off the porch.
