Key/Lock Holder: Dawn
Brief History: Rai was born to a simple brazillian family with MANY brothers and sisters to look after. It was a hectic life, but he loved his Rio de Janero and her loved his family. However, Rai is a free spirit, and when he got invited to train at the Xiaolin temple he took his chance without a second thought.
He spent years training there and became the Shoku warrior. After having to re-spread all the wu for the sake of good, Rai received a letter inviting him to Aphrodite’s manor where he was told he’d have to find love. He’d never experienced it, outside of his crush on his teammate of course, and was a bit hesitant, but he accepted it. Though you may still catch him trying to escape the island once in a while.
Sample Post: *reusing from Kims because I’m lazy and Dawn
already knows how I play Rai anyway XP*
“Are you sure this is a good idea, Kim?”
“What have we got to lose? If it fits, then fine, it’ll be weird, but fine. If it doesn’t then we’re right back where we started.” She said with a shrug. She and Rai had been best friends for two years now, but it’d never turned into anything more. She’d admit that she knew of his feelings for her, and she’d felt them too at one point. But in all honestly, a relationship was the furthest thing from her mind when
she was training.
He sighed. “Alright fine.” He didn’t sound like he wanted to do it. Not that she could blame him. Can you say awkward?
They brought the key and the lock together, anticipation clear on their faces. The two metal objects began to glow a soft pink color, and for a second she thought they would connect. However, the glowing ceased, and the lock and key began to reject each other when brought to close, like two magnets repelling.
She didn’t exactly know how to feel, but looking up it was clear there was a bit of disappointment on her best friends face. An apologetic smile was the best she could muster at the moment.
