Brief History: Tai Lung never knew his biological family. He was abandoned outside the Jade Palace and raised to adulthood by Master Shifu and GrandMaster Oogway. He was a kung fu prodigy, mastering the thousand scrolls of kung fu before his 21st birthday. His pride went to his head though and when he was denied the future he really thought was his, he snapped and attacked the ones who meant the most to him. After his defeat by the Big Fat Panda he was found and nursed back to health by several monks. There he learned to let go of most of his anger and fear and....control issues. He became more at peace with himself and the world in general. It was then that he received an invitation to a very special island.

Tai Lung stared at the letter in his paw with a look of astonishment on his handsome face. Was this for real? A non-traceable island? A place to stay? To start over? To find a soul mate? Was this place REALLY for real? It was impossible.....

in his other paw he fingered the lock and key restlessly. They called out to him. Sang in his mind. If was a chance he could actually find happiness.... He clinched his paw around them tightly..... he would take it
