Name: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
Age: 15
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Image:
Lock Holder: Astrid, as far as he knows (though, if Hiccup/Astrid isn't possible then I am definitely open to exploring other ideas)
Brief History: Born the sort of black sheep in a village all about killing dragons, Hiccup went against the grain and befriended one of the most dangerous dragons known to Viking kind and discovered that dragons weren't nearly as bad as they had been made out to be. Ultimately, Hiccup and his dragon companion Toothless defied the odds and became heroes the hard way. They saved Berk and made it possible for Vikings and dragons to live in peace.
In all honesty, Hiccup has no idea how he got to the island or what he's doing there. He only knows he was given a strange little key to wear around his neck, and has a vague understanding of the idea that someone in the mansion holds the lock he needs to unlock. Who that person is remains a mystery to him, though. He has a vague idea of who it might be, but no strong leads at this moment in time. He's in the same boat as everyone else, and has to find out whose lock he holds the key to. The hard way.
Sample Post: "...Okay. I'm guessing this isn't going to be as easy as walking up to someone and saying something about their lock."
The day had proven rather uneventful as far as Hiccup could tell. He had wandered about the mansion for who knew how long and hadn't made any progress in discovering whose lock he had to unlock. So, the redheaded Viking was leaning against the wall nearest him and twirling his key necklace around his finger. He looked rather unimpressed by the day's events and was hoping that something more eventful would occur. At the very least, Hiccup was hoping to maybe bump into Astrid. The last time he had seen the blonde Viking they had hit things off well enough. Hopefully, if he did run into her again, she would have the lock he needed.
A scoff followed, as if Hiccup was telling himself he was unimpressed by this line of thinking, and a shake of his head was all he gave to indicate that he really was disagreeing with himself. "And Gronkles can win beauty contests. It's not going to be easy unlocking someone's lock, and I sure as hell can bet that just finding the person I think has the lock I need isn't going to make things easier." he sighed. With that, the little key was slipped over his head and went back to its position around his neck. Hopefully he was wrong. Hopefully Astrid was still interested. Hopefully... hopefully it wasn't all just wishful thinking on his part.
