Name: Razputin ‘Raz’ Aquato
Age: 11 years (Though he doesn't act like it)
Sexual Orientation: Bi
Image: Here.
Key/Lock Holder: Lili Zanotto (Though I’m up to other suggestions for Pairings within his age range. No Sasha/Raz, though, as Sasha is in..what, his thirties? Forties? And That would be just plain weird.)
Brief History: Razputin "Raz" Aquato Raz is a ten-year-old boy who was raised in the circus. He showed signs of psychic powers at a young age, but his father pushed him to constantly practice difficult acrobatics, leading Raz to believe that his father hated him for having psychic abilities, even though he was a psychic as well. Raz runs away from the circus and infiltrates Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp, a secret government camp for the training of psychic agents known as Psychonauts.
During his short time at Camp Whispering Rock, Raz discovers that A mysterious villain has kidnapped Raz’s fellow campers and stolen their brains. It took a lot of work, but Raz finally managed to both earn his place as 'The youngest Psychonaut Ever' and the respect of his peers after stopping this heinous plot.
Things went well for the Boy for a while, the rescue of the Grand Head of the Psychonauts went off without too much damage to anyone else's mind and his Life calmed down just a little after that (And, as Raz always said, The Psychonauts is 90% paperwork, 10% Fun). Life was good..until he received an Odd invitation in the mail. Thinking it's another possible Mission in disguise, Raz sets off to investigate (and this time, his Father didn't stop him, believing it to be 'Official Psychonauts Business', though Raz threw in that Sasha and Milla would be going just to further convince his Father that he would be fine on his own), though the Key that he also received is a surprise...
For reasons unknown, a family of gypsy psychics from a rival circus cursed Razputin's family to always die in water. Whenever Raz enters water deeper than a few inches, a supernatural liquid hand attempts to grab him and pull him beneath the surface. The Psychonauts manual refers to this eerie hand as the Hand of Galochio, which is named for the family that imposed the curse. As such, the Boy has a case of Hydrophobia.
Sample Post: Raz slowly turned the key over and over in his gloved hands as he stepped off of the Boat, a puzzled expression on his face, giving only a small wave to the Captain who had brought him here as the Boat left the shore.
It was hard work managing to even convince himself that stepping on to a transportation vessel that could sink at any time and easily bring him within 'Oh my God water equals Death!' range was a good idea, though the image of soon being back on land and the possible promise that somehow, to him, this was another Psychonauts mission was enough to bring himself to end up on the boat. Two birds with one stone..in a sense. He hadn't even peeked outside onto the deck of the ship, instead preferring to keep himself huddled in his cabin while on board during the trip, attempting every Psychic trick he knew to gain just a little more information.
Raz gave a cautious glance to the retreating vessel, before turning his gaze over to the key. It was a simple, brass colored thing, not too ornate and was looped around a single strip of leather. Just an ordinary key. At first, the boy tried using his abilities to see if there was any Psychic signature on it. No dice. Clairvoyance? Nope. Just an ordinary key with a message from someone named Aphrodite...If that wasn't suspicious, he didn't know what was.
With a small frown, the Boy looped it around his neck again and adjusted the backpack (It contained his Merit Badges, Psychonauts I.D Card and other items and essentials) he wore, expression turning determined as he started up the path towards the Manor. While he thought that this whole 'Letter and a secret Island' was suspicious and worthy of Official Government Investigating, he wouldn't put off the thought that maybe using the place as..sort of a 'vacation time' spot wouldn't hurt his career either. He couldn't sense any of his fellow Campers or Agents within the area, but nor did he not hold out hope that some of his other Campers hadn't gotten the same message. Out of all of the Campers and even councilors, Raz did hope that at least Lili managed to make it here as well, if she even got the same letter he did. Raz gave a sigh as he walked up the steps that lead to the front doors. "Well, here's hoping.."
