(July 21st at Night. A thread for dogs only. All canines, wolves, foxes, ect are welcome)
Shriek stared up at the moon as she sat on the edge of a bench in the gardens. She sighed and looked at her reflection in a pond. Moving her hair back, the slightly insecure poodle frowned and growled at her reflection. "There ain't nuthin' wrong with the way I look!" She said out loud to reassure herself more than anyone else. She sighed and moved her hair down again. Her squinty eyes, her big nose, her short stature and her frizzy hair all screamed that she was no a girl anyone wanted to be seen with let along date.
She gripped the lock in her paw. "Dis game is stupid!" She snarled, "I'm never gonna find myself a man, so what's the point of even bein' here?" She dropped the lock at her feet and continued to stare at the pool.
"What are you lookin' at ugly?" she howled at her reflection.

Charlie gave a huff and rolled his eyes, glaring disdainfully at the key around his neck before he shook his head and let it thump against his chest again. It almost brought a sense of deja-vu to the canine, as the key was situated exactly where his Life Watch used to be. When he stole it from Heaven. Charlie shook his head a bit harder, not wanting to think of how exactly he came in to the possession of the Watch anymore. It was back in Heaven where it belonged.
He couldn't really remember as to how he even got here, and though he decided he would play this weird game, he still hoped Itchy and Sasha were safe. Though he figured Sasha would be mad for essentially 'cheating' on Her with someone else, though he still kind of though that She could have done better...The Dog gave a shrug of his shoulders as he hopped off of the edge of a smaller fountain, instead taking his mind off of his life back Home by taking in the beauty of the Garden.
"Well, it's no New Orleans or San Francisco but this place has a weird charm to it." He muttered, then frowned. "Almost heavenly.." His ears perked as another voice hit his ears. High pitched, though he couldn't really tell if it was female or male. Walking over with a curious expression, Charlie hopped over a row of bushes and huffed as he landed, ears perked. "Huh, didn't know this place had a pond.." He murmured under his breath before he found out what was making all that noise. Another Dog, who seemed to be down about something. Charlie gave another roll of his eyes before he made his way over to Shriek. 'Welp, looks like it's 'Guardian Angel' time...again.'. His tone was more on the casual side, though he didn't seem overly concerned, the Shepherd pausing a few steps away so that he wouldn't invade her personal space.
"Hey, you okay, Squeaker?" Squeaker. Charlie mentally facepaw'd himself. His old nickname for Ann-Marie. Though with the other Dog's high-pitched tone of voice, he wasn't really surprised that he had used it again.
((Yeah, this post sucks. But it's better than nothing.))

Dingo glances up from his spot across the pool where he was getting a drink. Wonder what's up with her? The husky mix thinks to himself frowning he watches as a German Shepard starts talking to the poodle. "is everything ok?" he asks as he makes his way around the pool towards the 2 dogs.

Krystal was walking trough the mansion's garden still fascinated by the garden's beauty. No matter how many times she goes through the gardens the plants always help her clear her mind. Krystal suddenly spotted three dogs, one of them an anthro. Krystal noticed that something was bothering the anthro one, so she walked over and asked, "Is something wrong?"

The large obsidian and brown furred Doberman Pinscher trotted through the enormous garden. Roscoe was simply keeping busy, he wasn't one to lay around doing nothing, especially at night. He normally 'worked' at night and he felt more at home in the darkness of the night. It gave him a chance to get away from the other 'contestants' in the mansion. Besides the Doberman couldn't help, but want to check out all property. The training that had been installed since he was a puppy forcing him to do so...not that he minded.
Roscoe slowed to a stop in the garden. His cropped ears flicked as he heard voices, and where he heard a high pitched howl. He turned his visage towards the noise. The purebred let out a snort as he walked towards where the commotion, his instincts telling him to investigate. He stopped a distance away, the site that greeted him was a small anthro poodle girl that seemed sad...or mad, he couldn't tell from this distance. There were others though, a male German Shepard who looked like he had sewn better days, a male red and white furred husky and another anthro. But this one was a blue and white female fox and she was a looker. Roscoe wouldn't lie, he was quite a bit jealous of these anthros, they could do things he could never do, something he hated. It would make his 'job' far easier if he was an anthro as well. Roscoe couldn't help, but grin sinisterly at the implications of such a thing.
The purebred Doberman walked towards the group. His face impassive as he did so. He was curious about what was going on, though he doubted he could help, but he had time to...kill. Roscoe couldn't help, but grin insanely on the inside at his own pun. "So what going on with the poodle girl foxy?" The Doberman inquired with a raised eyebrow and a toothy grin as he gazed up at the vixen.

German Shepherd's ears perked as two, no, three others voices inquired as to what was going on. A red and white Husky, and Anthro, blue-furred fox and most recently a Doberman Pinscher. The Shepherd turned to the Doberman first, having stayed close enough to where he could hear the plight of the Anthro Poodle, though far enough to where he wouldn't be a bother. "Dunno. Just heard some sorta howlin' and came over." He admitted.
As he looked Roscoe over, Charlie couldn't help but smile a little. The other dog looked beaten up, rather faded scars criss-crossing over his body, and the way he walked reminded him a lot of the City Life. Charlie couldn't help but run a paw over his torn ear, before giving a nod as if to reaffirm his thoughts. "Hey, pal, hope ya don't mind me askin', but are you by any chance a City Dog? I just kinda figured I'd ask, since... Y'know, you look the type. No offense.." he trailed off as he opted to sit down, gesturing to the Doberman's scarred body with a free paw. Charlie had a number of scars himself, but his thick fur covered most, if not all of them.

"So what going on with the poodle girl, foxy?"
Krystal looked around when she heard the question and saw a rather large, obsidian colored dog and a wolf joined them, but judging from the new dog's smile she believed he was the one who said it. She could tell the obsidian dog could be trouble and is trying to flirt with her, she didn't need psychic powers to tell either. "Well as he already said," she indicated the dog with the torn ear, "this girl is upset about something we just don't know what."

With a sudden sweep of movement, the petite dog was surrounded by several of her canine companions. Blinking wildly, the beady eyed poodle stared from Charlie to Roscoe. Woof. They were fine as hell! Ears drooped at her side slightly. Leaping down from the bench where she was showing her small stature (miniature poodle she was) she looked up at the boys and placed her paws on her hips.
"Nuthin'!" She sniffed rather gruffly, a mixture between shyness and roughness, "Nuthin' the matter with me!" Lies, but that was besides the point. She didn't want this german shepard and the doberman to think she was soft. But Roscoe's words caused hearts to appear over her head. They recognized she was a girl?! That was a new one! She sighed dreamily. This was great! Was it because they were not anthropomorphic like she was? Because they could smell it on her? She had no idea but there was no way she was going to question it.
"What's yer name?" She asked the shepard, "Mine's Shriek."

Charlie lifted an eyebrow as the Poodle said that nothing was wrong, before giving a small smile. "Really? Hmm..Aw, well. Can't blame a Dog for tryin'.." He muttered with a small, nonchalant shrug of his shoulders. He didn't really believe her, but he wouldn't force her to tell him what was wrong, either. He also picked up on her tone, it had sort of a rough quality to it despite its high pitch, something he could appreciate. He kind of missed being in the City, an the Female's tone reminded her of both Frisco and Orleans. A weird mix.
Charlie perked when the Poodle asked for his name and Charlie smiled again. "Shriek, huh? I like that." He replied. It fit her in a way a jigsaw puzzle piece would once one found the right spot to put it in, kind of like how 'Itchy' fit his Daschund companion, and quite frankly, Charlie couldn't really see himself calling either by any other name. "The name's Charlie. Charlie Barkin." He gave another grin, even adding a slight bow for effect. "Not th' nicest name on the new Orleans block, but it's better than..say, Fluffy." He wouldn't call himself prideful of the little Title he had earned for himself back home, as his past still caught up with him now and again, but it least it was better than..say..Fifi or something like that.

The Doberman could only grin at Krystal, she didn't seem to take to his advances. Oh she would be fun to vixen indeed. Roscoe was right about te poodle though, but before he could flirt with the blue vixen some more he noticed Charlie looked him over. It wasn't uncommon for dogs to size each other up. Yet his look was one of curiosity then ill intent. Roscoe also noticed the large wolf approaching, but paid him little mind. But when the German Shepherd questioned if he was from the city he couldn't help, but chuckle. Showing off his impressive teeth as he did so.
"Indeed I am. But I take no offence, but if I did you'd know right away," Roscoe stated as he flashed his deadly ivories. "I'm from New York City. But I'm not a stray as you can see." Roscoe stated as he motioned to his red, diamond studded collar. "I've gotten these scars from my...profession that my brother and I are in," the Doberman stated. It was half the truth and he didn't see the point being completely truthful. "Though if I had to guess you yourself are a city dog yourself." Roscoe stated as he motioned to Charlie's torn ear. He was also guessing from his attitude. After all you puck up a lot when you live in New York City, especially being able to read others.
The Doberman turned his attention to the small poodle girl as she leapt down from the bench. Paws on her hips and standing with attitude, showing no fear as she gazed at him at Charlie. Roscoe grinned, he liked that in women. If to prove the point she tried to brush off what ever was bothering her as if it never happened. Though the dreamy look on her face made him smirk cockily, not surprising. He had that affect on women.
"Shriek", what an odd name he thought, yet it did suit her considering her high voice, though her accent reminded him of of a Greaser from those movies he'd seen. His cropped ears twitched as he heard the shepherd identify himself, so he was from New Orleans...he didn't seem like it though. Roscoe just shrugged, before he gave a small chuckle at Charlie's joke. "So if your okay then what is such a fine girl like you doing our here my your lonesome?" Roscoe questioned smoothly as he took a few steps closer to Shriek. A sly grin on his muzzle as he gazed down at the anthropomorphic poodle.

Tails couldn't sleep that night. That was official. The young two-tailed fox had been tossing and turning in his bed, still wide awake. It was late when he heard the sound of voices from outside. Curious, he went over to the window to check it out. He saw a bunch of figures in the garden, some anthro like himself, others not. But one thing they all had in common is that they were canines, dogs and foxes alike.
Figuring it was no use trying to sleep, the young fox decided to go outside and join them. When he got out there, her shyly walked over to them. "Uh, hello. Can I join you guys?" he asked, without Sonic his confidence was zip.

Krystal was very uncomfortable with the way the obsidian dog was looking at her, she didn't even want to read his mind to find out what he was thinking about her. "Are you sure nothing is wrong, miss?" Krystal asked Shriek.
Krystal just listen to the conversation between Shriek, Charlie, and the obsidian dog, she didn't want interrupt since no one was talking to her. Apparently Chalire's full name is Charlie Barkin and he is from New Orleans, while the obsidian dog is from New York City and obviously does illicit work, maybe something like a hitman.
Krystal just noticed that a large wolf joined them and she also heard a rather timid voice. She saw the voice came from a young, yellow, and two-tailed fox. After spending so much time on the island, the fact he had two tails didn't bother Krystal. "Yes, you can join us."

"Thanks." Tails replied with a gentle smile and came closer to the group of canines. "So, what's going on here?" he asked. " It's late, why aren't you all asleep?" he asked, curious on the matter, two tails waving in the air.

"I was just out for a nice walk" Gabu said a with a shy smile to Tails and Krystal "then I stumbled about this" he nods his head to the group of dogs. "I'm Gabu" the wolf hops up on his hunches to get a better view of the dobie for he was wary of the black dog
