Brief History: Vulpix originally belonged to the renowned Pokemon breeder Susie, living the pampered life in the salon Susie owned in a place called Scissor Street. Susie treated Vulpix well, giving her treats, feeding her the best food she could offer, and brushing her fur and keeping her clean and healthy. Vulpix spent most of her time napping in a chair or on the service desk, attracting the unwanted attention of many strangers. Strangers who lived to regret messing with her tails or picking her up.
One such ill-fated girl was the companion of a trainer who would forever change Vulpix's life. The pokemon breeder Brock, a breeder in his own right and a huge Susie fanboy. After a scuffle with Team Rocket, displaying her enormous fire power, Susie decided to ask Brock to take Vulpix for a while, and Vulpix was all for it. Brock made the best food and there was just something she liked about the young man.
She spent a great deal of time traveling all throughout Kanto with Brock and his two companions, doling out fiery punishments to Team Rocket when needed. When Brock encountered Susie once more at a breeders' contest, Brock decided to give Vulpix back to Susie again. Happy to be reunited with her original owner, it was with some surprise that Vulpix found the lock and letter next to her on her pillow when she woke up one morning.
After some investigation to find out what the letter said, Vulpix decided to run away and find out what it was all about.
Sample Post: So this was the place. This was where that strange locket had come from. Vulpix tilted her dainty little head, peering up at the broad estate. Then she glanced at the locket, tied by a cord around her neck. Taking graceful, light steps, she scampered up the front steps and up to the open front doors.
It hadn’t been easy to get away from Susie, and the Vulpix was sure she would eventually come looking for her. But she’d been intrigued about the letter that she couldn’t read. She’d discussed it with her fellow Pokemon, and the ones that could make out what the letter said suggested she check it out. After all, how many opportunities did she get to try to find love?
