(ooc: July 23rd. Closed to just Raven and Krystal)
Raven just sat in the library, alone as usual, levitainng just a few feet off the ground, feet crossed. Something she was always usually content with, being left alone to be able to read. This book was a spell book, one she was reading, but at the same time, was studying as well.
Well, one would assume it was a spell book anyway, by the older look of said book, but what it really was, just an ordinary book really. After all, Raven already did have a fair few powers as is was, and that's what she was content with having.
Eyes were just remained upon the book, unaware of what else was going on around herself just yet. But that didn't mean that if one were to interupt her, that she might get annoyed with that.

Krystal once again visited the library, which she has done multiple time since she has arrived on the island. Krystal found the book she was reading last she was her and flipped to the page she was on last and started reading the book.
Krystal liked it in the library. It was very peaceful in here, it seemed that most of the people on the island weren't reading types. Which suited Krystal fine because she can get peace she never could have on the Great Fox and she could clear her mind of that awful dog she met two days ago.
When Krystal finished reading the book she put it back in place and started looking for a new one. While Krystal was looking for another book she found a girl who was floating in mid-air, without any technological help. Krystal has seen some strange things, and experienced strange things also, she has never seen anyone float all by themselves. "Excuse me, but how are you doing that?"

Eyes gazed up from her book at the voice that had interupted her silence with a single question. Though Raven did not answer at first as she just looked at Krystal. Sure, seeing something like her would be strange to her, but then again, her father was Trigon after all, so to her, this wasn't all that suprising.
"It's to do with my powers" Raven answered the anthromorphic fox's question back as she continued to just levitate there, eyes still gazing upon the fox all the while before she soon moved them back down to her book once again, as if to try and ignore the female fox.
'Now no more questions....you're about as annoying as what Starfire can be' she thought to herself as her eyes continued to remain on her book.

Krystal could tell that this girl wasn't very social. Krystal decided to read Raven's mind to see if something was bothering her. "Now no more questions....you're about as annoying as Starfire can be," is what Krystal heard Raven thinking.
Krystal, knowing she wasn't welcomed here, decided she should find a new book quickly. It took Krystal awhile but eventually she found a book that interest her. Krystal took the book and decided it was best to leave the library, so she started to leave the library.

Raven felt....something in her mind, as if....something had just probed it for a moment as her eyes gazed up from her book at Krystal, watching as the fox was starting to leave. Which was rather strange, Raven didn't exactly say anything to get her to leave, then again, she said nothing at all.
"Was that you?" Raven finally spoke up to ask Krystal "I felt something probe my mind...and, well....was it you?" she had to at least ask the fox girl.
"You do know that peoples thoughts are private, right?"

Krystal stopped when she heard Raven asked if Krystal had probed her mind. So far she had only met two other people on the island that could tell when she had read their mind and those were other psychics.
"Yes I was the one who read your mind and I apologize for doing so," Krystal responded to Raven's question. "I thought something might have been bothering you so I decided to read your mind. When I heard you said I was as annoying as this Starfire person, I decided it was best to leave," Krystal further explained.
"I swear that is all I read, nothing more than that."

Raven just stared at the girl for just a bit longer, unsure if she should trust her before levitating said book to the side for a moment and putting her feet on the ground, allowing for herself to stand up properly.
"That was probabally an over reaction, and I have to admit so far, you're not as annoying as Starfire can be. I just usually like to be left alone, which is why I came here, for some peace and quiet" Raven replied back to Krystal before the book finally levitated down into her arms.

Krystal just stood there while Raven just stared at her, feeling slightly uncomfortable. Krystal decided against reading Raven's mind again. Krystal was relieved when Raven calmed down, although she didn't look or seem very angry in the first place.
Krystal listened to what Raven said which included an explanation of why she was in the library. "I guess I'll take that as a compliment. I know what you mean. I come into the library for peace and quiet also," Krystal said, she then added, "And to get away from my obnoxious team mate, Falco."

Of course, Raven's facial expressionm didn't really seem to change as she just looked at Krystal again "So I guess we both have someone obnoxious to try and get away from....though, Starfire's not exactly....obnoxious. But I do know what you mean in general about just distancing yourself from others when they can get on your nerves"
'Well, there is that, and because of this island too....I find it's best to just stay here and not go out of my way in search of love' Raven added in her mind, not exactly wanting to voice that out to Krystal, despite knowing that the fox could read minds when she wanted to.

"It could be worse for me though. There is another member of the team, who isn't here, his name is Slippy. Falco and Slippy are always at each others throats I'm not sure how they even agreed to work together. So at least they both aren't here," Krystal said in response to Raven's statement.
Usually Krystal gets faint readings from other people's minds whether she wants to or not. This time Krystal was actively trying to keep herself from even get faint readings from Raven's mind. Krystal did get something about the island before she was able to stop the readings.

"Must be horrible for you to have to put up with them" Raven replied back as she levitated the book out of her hands and down onto a nearby table "I only have four team mates I have to put up with, Robin....who happens to be our leader, Cyborg who's well, team mechanic I guess you could call him, Beast Boy....who's well....Beast Boy, and then there's Starfire, the one who tries to learn more about Earth customs every day" she explained to Krystal.
"And, well, we do get along most of the time" she added in "And yes, Starfire is the one that can get annoying....though, not annoying as Beast Boy"

"I have four team mates also but those two are the only bad ones, the other two aren't annoying at all. My team members are Falco, who claims to be the Ace Pilot, Slippy, who is the team mechanic but can't drive half the vehicles he maintains, but the rest of the vehicles he can drive better than any member of the team, Fox, who is our leader, and Peppy who is the only surviving members of the original incarnation of the team and acts as a team mentor. I'm the team's psychic. We also have a robot named ROB," Krystal explained to Raven.
"As I said before, Slippy and Falco always fighting it seems and they are really the only source of friction on the team," Krystal added. "I joined the team eight years after it formed so I have no idea who they were convinced to work together."

Raven nodded back at Krystal lightly before she spoke again "And usually it would be strange seeing a fox walking around on two legs, dressing like a human and all that....but I've seen stranger things, so seeing something like you around....I guess I would consider that normal...."
Though of course, she wasn't about to go out of her way as to mentioning why seeing an anthromorphic fox was normal right now. That could wait for the time being.

"I figure from some of the other people's reactions that I would not be consider normal. I've seen strange thing also and experienced some first hand," Krystal said remembering the time she was trapped in a floating crystal. She was curious as to what strange things has Raven seen. "If you don't mind me asking, what strange things have you seen?"

Rven just fell silent again when Krystal asked her what she had seen herself. Sure, she could mention a few of the villains that she and her team had fought before, even being turned into a rabbit at one point. But those were rather small in comparison to what else she had seen as well.
But no matter, perhaps mentioning those would be be best. Leave her father out of the conversation for the time being "Well, if you want to know.....Mumbo, a magician, you would consider that normal probabally, but with his powers....myself and my team members got turned into animals....I....got turned into a rabbit...." she spoke, though just a tad sheepishly "Mad Mod, British....changes the everything around him as he sees fits....and of course there's Slade, who he and Robin have a bit of a history with"
'And there's also my father....' Raven added in to her mind, still not exactly wanting to talk about it.
