Brief History: When Po was just a baby his village was wiped out but his mother saved him by hiding him in a box of radishes. Po ended up in the Valley of Peace and was adopted by Mr. Ping. Po grew up being obsessed with Kung Fu, especially the Furious Five.
One day Po fell into the Jade Palace, quite literally, and was said by Oogway to be the Dragon Warrior. Po wasn’t exactly given a warm welcome by Shifu and the Five. Eventually Po became the Dragon Warrior, defeated Tai Lung, and earned the respect of Shifu and the Five.
One day Po found out he was adopted but didn’t have much time to think about it because China was threatened by Lord Shen. Po got beaten, badly, but came to terms with his past and defeated Shen.
Not long after his defeat of Shen he received a letter inviting him to the island. Sure he was able to pass many Kung Fu challenges, but one of love? Po never really thought about love, so when he got to the island all his old insecurities started acting up again.
Sample Post: “Oh man, oh man! What do I say?” Po thought as he a pretty girl was walking by. “Uhhh…, do you want to see my Kung Fu moves?” Po asked. “Uh, no,” the girl said and while walking away she adds, “Creep.” “Smooth, Po, smooth,” Po thought. Po has always had trouble talking with girls, Tigress and Viper being exceptions since he never had to have conversations like this with them. Po doesn’t even know if he could ask anyone for help, even if they were here. Po highly doubted that Shifu and the Five know anything about love and his dad would just somehow make things worse.
