Name: Doviculus (Emperor Doviculus)
Age: Unknown, but I’d say due to his voice..30? Hard to tell.
Orientation: Bi. Definently Bi.
Image:
(His skin is an off-white, possibly a grey color, in the clips the lighting makes it look like that.)
Key/Lock holder: Ophelia (Drowned), but I’m up for ideas. /Maybe/ Succoria (But since there was no final design for her…).
History (brief): Doviculus was a demon that served under the demonic empress, Succoria, though his exact rank is unknown, but he seemed to have a high position of power because of his strength. After she left for the future, Doviculus seized the chance for power and became the new ruler of demons (Tainted Coil), though he stated that he mourned for Succoria when she never returned.
When Eddie Riggs had returned to His time, Doviculus, at first, believed Succoria to have returned when he smelled her blood on a blade Ophelia had left behind, when in truth Eddie bore the scent of her blood because He was the Son of Succoria herself, and Eddie had been born a Half demon-half human Hybrid.
*spoiler* After Doviculus had been killed by Eddie, What remained of the Tainted Coil had gathered and retrieved what they could of their Emperor from the Sea of Black tears and went in to hiding at the Farthest corner of the world, then began to use what magic they could to revive him. It took many months and a strict hand to keep even a sliver of a rumor that the Coil was alive under wraps, but after a matter of trial and error, their Emperor was back at long last.
While Doviculus was pleased that the Coil had began to grow once more, he believed that there was 'something missing', taking note of the overall lackluster attitude of his 'Children'. A Warfather had brought up an Island somewhere far beyond the Bleeding Coasts, and suggested that perhaps going there and 'finding a mate' would improve the Coil's chances at succeeding. Taking his Superior's advice, Doviculus accepted and left said Superior in charge, knowing that none of the others would dare dethrone him if they knew he would return.
Sample Post:
'My Lord, if I may make a suggestion...'
'Speak, Seroh. And make it quick'
The Warfather hesitated, almost fearing his Lord's reaction. 'Perhaps what the Coil needs is a Female's touch. No doubt our Nuns have helped over the months that you were...away...But..'
A hint of an amused smirk as he found that the Divine Warfather was choosing his words carefully. 'You are trying my patience.'
'...Perhaps a worthy Female at your side would boost the Coil's confidence...It has dwindled since our last battle...'
For once, Doviculus's expression was blank. He hadn't though of that before. '...Perhaps you are right..'
Doviculus kept his sight set on out on the horizon as he paced along the beach, hands clasped behind his back as he thought. Behind him the sun lowered, orange rays glinting off of his Glaive he had left sticking out of the sand. Things here didn't make sense. While he was annoyed with the chance of 'settling down' with someone, he found himself even more annoyed by the fact that Humans were allowed to roam free across the grounds. And this didn't sit well with him, not at all. An Insect, a mockery of the Titans wasn't fit to rule alongside him, much less serve under the Tainted Coil, yet if the Coil was going to ever see Glory again he would have to choose soon.
The Demon paused, perking up a bit. Perhaps that was the best this Island had to offer, as as of yet he hadn't seen anyone worthy enough to talk to, much less impress him. With a low growl, Doviculus glanced down as he lifted his arm, at the Lock and Key around his right wrist, bound on the same gold chain akin to a necklace, the two bits of steel not touching due to the fact they were repelling eachother like magnets. He found he could touch them, but not remove them unless he wanted to get burned, though oddly enough the metal felt cold. Slowly he found his anger simmering as he watched the sunlight glint off of the metal. While Love was nothing but a weakness to him now, he believed he had felt it in the Past. Perhaps all he needed to do was wait until someone worthy enough came along...
