(ooc: July 14th. Open only to Pascal and Tails.)
Instead of actively going about the island and looking for people to interact with, perhaps like a normal person would, it seemed that a certain genius Amarcian had something else in mind. Since her last sighting around the mansion's pool, she had come up with an idea and had scurried off to start working on it. That had inevitably led to her holing up in her room and creating quite the mess in the process. But had anyone sought her out? Not that she was aware of. She'd become so engrossed in her work that notions like that were far from her mind.
At that particular moment, though, Pascal wasn't working. She'd spent the entire night tweaking and tinkering away at what she hoped would be a successful automatic banana peeler. She thought she'd made a breakthrough around five in the morning, but hours later she was still tweaking. Finally, though, around nine in the morning she had just collapsed on the floor in an exhausted heap without particularly caring that her room was a complete mess. Pascal still had a wrench in hand and there was a notebook filled with hard to read scribbles that were, presumably, her notes on the project at hand. How she had fallen asleep with so many tools and scraps scattered around her was anyone's guess. On top of that, her door was open.
"I'll just leave it open so I can raid the kitchen if I get hungry."
That had been Pascal's reasoning behind leaving the door open, but she had forgotten all about getting a snack when she'd gotten so into her work. On top of that, it was safe to say that the room was ripe with the stench of someone who hadn't had a proper shower in the past few days. Such was Pascal's logic. She could work for ages but never remember to get in a proper shower.
If Pascal was aware of another presence at that moment in time, she didn't make it particularly clear. But even in her barely waking form, she thought she heard someone approaching. Pascal stirred, turning over in her sleep, and mumbled something. It was up to whoever had entered her room to try and wake her.

Tails had been up for an hour or so, another day on the paradise island. Not much had been going on lately for the twin-tailed fox, as a matter of fact he was starting to question whether he should head home or not. Too bad he had no idea where he truly was. It didn't seem like he was on Mobius anymore, since everyone he had asked never heard of the planet. If he had at least the slightest clue where he was, the child prodigy would be able to peace together where he was.
With a steamy mug of cocoa in hand Tails walked through the halls on his way to the gameroom to watch tv. The sight of a suspicious door wide open caught Tails' attention. "Huh, that's weird." he thought and walked over to it, curious. But the fox soon covered his nose as the stench irked him. He then looked over the messy room, till he saw a familiar face passed out ob the floor.
"Pascal?" Tails gasped as he walked over to his friend to make sure she was alright.

Yes... there was someone trying to wake her. Were it under the circumstances of the last group she was with, and had she been casting her cryas artes in her sleep, Sophie most definitely would have been the one to wake her up. With a punch. Or a kick. Either way, Pascal was somewhat relieved that it was someone else instead of Sophie. That way she wouldn't have a massive headache when she finally did open her eyes. Amber eyes fluttered open, closing just as quickly as they took in the light coming in to the room, and a low groan followed as she lifted her head from the floor.
"Ugh... what time is it?" Pascal asked. She didn't even glance at the clock nearby, mostly because it wasn't something that had entered into her mind at the time, but instead looked Tails' way before starting to push herself into an upright position. "Oh. Hey, Tails... what'cha doin' here?" It was almost as if she didn't even realize she had stayed up the entire night, let alone the fact that being sprawled out on the floor must have been concerning.

"Uh, I found your door open and I decided to check it out..."The little fox trailed off, observing the room and then back at the girl. Boy, she didn't look to good. She was a mess, and aside from the little nap she had taken, she looked like she hadn't sleep much lately.
"Um, are you okay?" he asked. "You don't look so well." he finished. If he hadn't already sipped his hot chocolate, he would have surely gave it to the tired inventor.

"Door open...?" Pascal looked in the direction of the door for a moment, eyes half open as she tried to regain her bearings and what had happened before she gave in to her apparent desire for sleep, before looking back to Tails. A flicker of realization appeared in her eyes. She did remember leaving the door open. "Oh yeah... I left it open so I could raid the kitchen if I got hungry while I worked. Guess I just forgot about it after thinking I'd made some kind of breakthrough." she said. At last it seemed she noticed the wrench in her hand, and a sheepish laugh escaped her when she did.
"Whoops... guess I got a bit carried away. I was working on a project I got this super cool idea for, but before I knew it I ended up like this!"
Despite her lack of proper sleep, let alone a proper shower, she seemed to be in relatively good spirits. Such was Pascal's nature, though. She was just a sort of chipper person. Some might have seen her as being a doofus because of it, but she didn't seem to have much of an opinion on the matter. Finally, though, it looked like she was acknowledging how tired she truly was. A yawn escaped her, quite a big yawn to boot, and she tried to hide it as best she could with her hand. It didn't really work.
"I think I just kinda zonked out a little while ago. I'm okay, though... just kinda tired." Pascal said. Tired was an obvious understatement. Assuming she didn't resume work on the project later that day, she'd need to get some proper sleep sooner or later.

Tails scratched his head. Weird behavior for someone who looked they hadn't had a goodnight's sleep in days. It looked like Pascal was her usual cheer self. He then looked at the wrench in her grip, that could've implied that she was working on some machine or something like that.
Knowing it was possible, the twin-tailed fox spoke up. "So what exactly are you working on, I mean if you stood up all night working on it, it's gotta be important."

"Oh, it's..." Pascal paused for a moment, letting another yawn pass her defenses, before shaking her head a bit and setting the wrench down at last. "It's super dooper important! This'll totally make making banana food a whole lot easier. I present to you... Pascal's totally awesome, super dooper, high tech... banana peeler!"
It probably sounded incredibly silly, especially coming from one who had lacked proper sleep, but that was it in a nutshell. Pascal motioned to the gadet in front of her and sort of started to lean over to the side. She probably wasn't aware of that part herself, though. Almost like she was slipping off into her own little world again, she seemed sort of dazed despite the cheerfulness she was somehow pulling off. As for the gadet in question, it still looked like it needed a bit of work. In Pascal's opinion, though, it was coming along all right.
"Still gotta... work out a few things, but otherwise I think..." this time a longer yawn escaped her. Poor doofy genius didn't even seem aware that she had pushed herself past her usual limits. "...I think it'll work just fine. Now if only I had a banana to test on it..."

Okay, Tails wasn't exactly sure of how to react to the idea of Pascal and her banana peeler, he was usually used to building and seeing much more important inventions like battle robots and weapons that could possibly save the world from being destroyed, but it did sound useful and important the Amarcian, besides it would save him some finger work if Pascal would be able to perfect her machine.
Tails continued studying the machine and Pascal's fading in and out of conciousness, hopefully she would be able to stay awake. Now, they could easily get a banana in the kitchen. Hopefully the hyper girl would have enough energy to go get it.
"There bananas downstairs in the kitchen, we could go get one if you want, unless you're too tired." he suggested with a bit of a worried look in his eyes.

"...Duh, of course there are. Geez, Pascal, what are you thinking?" Pascal wondered out loud. Had she really been so lost in thought that she'd forgotten the whole purpose behind her leaving the door open in the first place? It was either that or she was slipping back into her own little world and letting her thoughts fly away like ashes in the wind. Shaking that thought away, or maybe it was shaking sleep away as it began to creep back toward her, Pascal finally nodded in response to Tails' question. She could go down to the kitchen with him, grab a banana or two, and test the gadget she made. If it worked, she'd probably throw a celebratory party right there in her messy, still foul-smelling room.
"Y'okay, let's get this little mission underway! To victory!"
Pascal took one wobbly step forward, then immediately fell onto the floor in a sleep deprived, dazed heap. Clearly, she wasn't quite as stable at that moment as she wanted to reassure herself she was. She'd need help if she was going anywhere. "I'm okay." came the muffled statement from the floor.

"Okay!" Tails exclaimed back with a smile at Pascal's first statement, confident that she had the energy to at least make it downstairs. He was about to walk out of the bedroom when he heard a thump from behind. The fox whirled around to see his normally energetic friend heaped on the floor.
Tails sighed and made his way over to the female. "Oh Pascal." he sighed. "Are you sure you can make it to the kitchen. Do you need any help or anything?" The fox offered.

"Ah... maybe a little tensie tiny bit of help would be good." Pascal laughed. She'd only be kidding herself if she said she was truly okay at that moment in time, especially when she had slumped over so soon after saying they should begin their journey to the kitchen in the first place. Though she didn't want to shoulder Tails with the entire burden of picking her up and carrying her. So, Pascal made herself push herself back into a sort of sitting position so he could at least help her up off the floor. Upon sitting up, though, she had to bring one hand to her head for a brief moment and shake some dizziness away. For a moment Pascal thought she was even seeing double the Tails!
"Whoa... maybe I shouldn't'a pulled those all nighters. I'm feelin' kinda wonky." she said. It wasn't quite as strange as the eleth high she and the others had experienced while battling the Terma Ten, but her head did feel funny and she felt dizzy. It was close enough in her book.

"Of course." The fox replied and walked over to the female and helped up the floor. "There you go." He smiled weakly after helping her up. That smile quickly turned into a concern frown. "Poor Pascal, I remember when I used to do all nighters." Back when he was with Sonic, trying to figure out complicated formulas and how to perfect his machinery. They weren't exactly the healthiest habit in the world, but what had to be done, had to be done.
"So, uh are you still up for getting those bannanas?" he asked, starting to make his way towards the door, just in case.
