((Set July 25th, closed to Eris and Aphrodite. Sorry, I couldn't wait xD))
Crap. That's basically all that was on the goddesses mind at the moment. She put so much into this island. The staff, the guests in the castle, the entire town was made for the purpose of making her job easier, and helping the mortals find their loves. She planned it to a T! Sure there were some unhappy campers here and there, but once they connect with the ones they're supposed to be with it would blow over and all would be well.
And then she came. Aphrodite hated her. The smug goddess of chaos was her polar opposite, save for their dedication to their jobs and their frequent use of sarcasm. She couldn't just waltz in here and destroy her plans. She couldn't. This was her island, and Eris was leaving one way or another. She wasn't gong to ruin her fun! True, she'd done nothing as of yet, but she was cooking something up, Aphrodite knew it. She was trying to ruin her plans. Love and Chaos could not exist together without there being consequences.

((ooc: It's okay I'm glad you did! ))
Eris appeared in her own, way, coming through a mix of mist and long, water like tendrils until her 'body' of sorts formed. Formed in the office of Aphrodite, sitting sideways in a chair and playing with a piece of string. A taunting smile on her lips. Oh how she enjoyed seeing the blonde goddess squirm! Her absolute opposite and the other goddess she held in the highest contempt. Eris's eyes were alight in mischief. With a light laugh Eris let herself be announced, only to move in her watery way and reappear standing beside Aphrodite's desk.
"Oh Aphrodite, it's been so long!" She crooned. Her ebony hair floating as if submerged in water. Eris had yet to put an plans in action. The golden string interlaced in her fingers was yet to be pulled. Eris saw herself up high on the totem pole. Aphrodite however, she saw ways lower. Being that low however, she had room to wiggle and make an absolute nuisance of herself. Example A being the island for love. There was no room for love in her world of chaos, destruction. It was infuriating, an itch she couldn't quite scratch. She kept all of these emotions seething under the surface. Her complexion was cool for the moment.
"I see you've been busy playing dolls while I've been making the world turn round." Eris proclaimed in a bored tone, skimming a finger over the desk, disturbing some of the things on there. There was a coy air around the goddess. She had plans, oh of course she had plans! No need to let the island go unnoticed. After all this game Aphordite was playing was all to easy. A one sided game of chess, playing with her pawns. Eris decided she'd change that, and expand the playing field a little more.

Speak of the Devil. Close enough, anyway, Aphrodite thought dryly to herself. She wasn't going to try to hide her displeasure in the slightest. She scowled as Eris made herself at home in her office. "Not long enough, apparently." She said with a smile. She could sense it in the other goddess' smug tone, she wanted to shake things up on her island, well not if Aphrodite could help it. She didn't care if she thought she was more powerful than her, love always beat everything, even chaos. "What are you doing here, Eris?" She asked impatiently. "None of this concerns you." Aphrodite knew why she was here though, she wanted to mess everything up. Make people fall in love with the wrong person, put hatred in the hearts of the mortals, cause chaos wherever she pleased. She didn't care whose life she ruined. That was one weakness Aphrodite had that Eris did not. She card about the mortals in her care, while Eris couldn't care less. Her whole purpose was to hurt them.
Her scowl deepened when Eris mocked her. "I am doing my job." She insisted. "What have you done besides causing grief and strife?" What Eris was doing was wrong. There were plenty of places to cause chaos...why here? To get under Aphrodite's skin, why on earth else?

Eris feigned hurt, letting a hand fly up to her chest. "Oh Aphrodite I'm hurt you think so lowly of me!" Her voice twisted at the end, transforming into a sneer. Floating over to do a semi circle around the blonde goddess, Eris stopped before her. "I'm here to do my job." She tossed back at the other goddess. "I'm just causing the necessary chaos. All's fair in love and war!" the pale goddess continued to chide. The raven haired goddess was thoroughly disgusted with Aphrodite. The compassion and care she showed the weak mortals. Treating them with care, kindness, giving them love. Seeing everything good in them. Whilst Eris showed and created their other side. Their chaotic, destructive tendencies. Their ability to bring ecosystems or civilizations to fatal ends. Eris merely exposed one of mankind's greatest flaws.
"Me? Grief, Strife?" The goddess threw back her head and laughed openly at the goddess. Curling a tendril of her flowing black hair around her index finger, Eris looked away for a moment. "I'd say I've done plenty more. I'm balancing out this peace and love shit you're trying to throw around." Eris continued aloud. "I merely aid the obnoxious mortals with the inevitable. And have a little fun with it." Eris curled into her smoky self, reappearing sitting on Aphrodite's desk.
"You've got yourself quite a doll house here. With a lot of unhappy dolls. " she continued to sneer and criticize. Her face then took on a thoughtful composition. The kind where one didn't want to know the thought behind the face. "I'd say you're losing your match making touch. Maybe I'll step in and try my hand at it." she taunted, her smile only growing wider at the goddess's clear displeasure at her being there.
