Name: Tigress
Age: 27-29
Orientation: Straight…Maybe a little Bi-curious.
Image:
Key/Lock holder: Open to Ideas (Not Tai Lung, since based on what his previous player has said they’d probably try to maul eachother).
Brief History: In Secrets of the Furious Five, Tigress was revealed to be an orphan living in the Bao Gu Orphanage where she was greatly feared by the other children and the matron due to her destructively lacking control of her great temper, strength, fangs, and claws. Left alone and isolated in her room for the safety of the other children, she soon began to see herself as a monster, as everyone else did. Then Shifu, at the request of the orphanage, came to render some assistance. Shifu taught her to control herself by playing dominoes, which requires not only discipline, grace, and precision but a delicacy of the hand and a steady heart that Tigress struggled to gain at first. Eventually, after months of training, she learned to control both her anger and her movements and became friends with the other orphans after creating a 'Yin and yang' symbol out of the dominoes as a demonstration of her control.
Although she was still feared by all potential parents who visited the orphanage to adopt the other children, Shifu soon adopted her and he took her in as his foster daughter, giving a small but genuinely sweet smile to her as they walked towards Tigress' new home. However, Shifu still carried the emotional scars of previous events, and thus was somewhat more strict and distant in her upbringing. The older Tigress in the main film explains to Po that Shifu loved Tai Lung like no other person before or since, including her.
After the events of Kung Fu Panda 2, Life was back to normal, in a way of speaking. Tigress was ever alert and focused on training and continued to do so until the Island was brought to her attention in the form of a scroll brought to her by Master Shifu. At first Tigress, with all due respect, refused to become associated with the place and requested to stay here to perform her duties.
Shifu pointed out that Tigress had literally been working herself to the bone, so much so that the skin of her pawpads cracked and bled. Shifu had also noticed her change in personality ever since Shen's defeat, and ordered her to go to the Island as a method of 'finding her inner peace'. Begrudgingly, Tigress accepted the offer.
Sample post: Tigress sat in the middle of the Gardens, balanced with one leg resting on top of a statue, arms outstretched and eyes closed as she focused her breathing. She hadn't given so much as a glance to the lock around her neck ever since she arrived, instead taking out her frustration about Shifu and 'finding love' in the form of meditation and general Training.
Ears perked and Tigress let out a sigh of frustration as a male voice made themselves known behind her, and with a slight jump the feline had flipped through the air and landed in a crouch, turning to the owner of the voice as she stood with hands on hips, eyes narrowed in annoyance as he stammered through his words, no doubt intimidated. Yet another one attempting to ask her out on a 'date', whatever that was. This was the third one this week, nor did she feel really..connected with anyone else here so far. With a dismissive shake of her head, Feline let out a small sigh and felt another headache steadily building, fixing the male with a cool glare. She tried to keep her tone as polite as possible. "Listen, Thank you but no. I will not go on a 'date' with you, Nothing would happen," she was going by something that Mantis had used the last time he was on a date, "it just wouldn't work. I don't even know you..."
