Name: Kovu
Age: cub
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Image:
Key/Lock Holder: Kiara
Brief History: Kovu can't recall much of his past, but he does know that he was adopted into Scar's family and passed off as the dark lion's heir. When Scar died, he and his family were moved to the Outlands where he was trained by his mother, Zira, to be the next king. One day he wandered off on his own and met with Simba's daughter. He later learned that her name was Kiara after they saved themselves from getting eaten by crocodiles. He didn't quite understand Kiara's ways, but he did like her. Unfortunately, they didn't have the opportunity to play together for long. His mother and her father showed up and their meeting was cut short, and after that he was dragged back to the Outlands to further his training.
Kovu grew sick of it. He ran away the first chance he had and ended up far from home. He didn't care where he was, especially since the jungle he had found was much lusher than his old home, but was more concerned about staying hidden. It got stranger shortly after that, though. He awoke one morning with a letter of some kind under his paw and a key around his neck. Kovu didn't understand what was happening, but decided to follow the letter's instructions and made his way to the mansion. Who knew? Maybe he would find Kiara again.
Sample Post: It was stupid. So very, very stupid. Kovu had barely been in the mansion a day and already he was freaked out. It had all started when he had encountered a two-legged creature with red and white hair that seemed to have boundless energy. She had made his mind spin so much that he had to run, but shortly after that he found himself in the company of a creature that seemed to be more mechanical than flesh. That had really freaked Kovu out. He'd run so hard and far that he'd wound up in what he could only presume was a cave of some kind (though, someone had said something about a bedroom... whatever that was) and just hid out in there for what felt like an eternity. So far, Kovu was not enjoying his experiences.
And you still have no idea what this key thing is for. Great work so far, Kovu. he thought bitterly. The brown lion cub couldn't help but be annoyed at himself. He was supposed to be strong and able to handle anything, and yet he was freaked out by so many things that were unknown to him that it was more like he was a kitten than a lion. How humiliating!
"Maybe things will be better later on." he murmured. Kovu wasn't about to return to the Outlands; Mother would be furious that he had fled, after all. He just wanted to figure out the strange key he had gotten. Once he did that, Kovu was sure he would be more at ease.
