Brief History: Toyo was practically bred and raised to be a winner, even since childhood. She won at hopscotch and "samurai" when young and even grew to win many other competitions as she matured. However, when she was to be the proud representative of her town in a beauty pageant, she lost because it was revealed that her sponsering managers, bother men, had cheated by eliminating much of the competition with non-lethal sabotage. Though her managers were imprisoned for their heinous crime, Toyo was left with a worse fate. Losing wasn't hurting her as much as she thought. Instead, she began to question her own natural talents and beauty, very much doubting them in worry that someone was always there to cheat her to victory. Her father was rather influential, after all. As she was sitting near a pond, wondering to herself what life meant for her now, a lock and key descended to her from the sky. She tried the key in the lock, but it didn't fit, disgruntling her more. That is when the invitation fell on her face. She found herself renewed with new competitive vigor, considering this challenge as a means to prove herself once more, so the world could see that she was naturally the best by being the first to win over a man's heart.
Sample Post: Toyo stood proudly as she arrived on the beach. She had slept through most of the boat ride, but she paid the old man the two bits she promised. She kicked shoved the boat away from shore with a powerful kick. It didn't send the boat too far, but it definitely got the boat off the beach. Besides, she didn't like how the old man had been looking at her.
"So, this is where this mysterious Aphrodite lives." She took the lock and key that had been given to her from off her sash and dropped them into her cleavage, hiding them effectively. Until she could get better established with this game, she decided it was best not to show them off. It might give the others an advantage, and she would hate more than anything to find out that someone cheated, especially with what happened during her last competition.
She began sauntering her way across the beach, smirking to herself. "This will be easy, nevertheless. I only lost that beauty contest by default, after all. What man could resist me?" She paused. "Then again, this might be a little harder than I thought. Men seem to be such loathesome creatures." She grimaced to think that she already might be behind in the game because of this belief. "Okay. Okay. Let's just find this Aphrodite person first, then I'll take a look at the men. I'm sure there has to be at least one who isn't a complete pig." She turned to the mansion and sashayed her way towards the promised keep.
