History:
His father left to become a good Pokemon trainer and his mother left shortly afterwards leaving Brock behind to raise his younger siblings. His father later returned considering himself a failure. He disguised himself and sold rocks as sovenirs. Later after Ash defeated Brock and won the Boulder Badge he revealed who he was. He stepped up taking responsibility for his family and the gym and Brock decided to travel with Ash and Misty. He's wants to be a Pokemon breeder and he's a great cook as well. He has a crush on Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, as well as other pretty women he runs into. His pokemon started out as rock types. But he soon got water, wood, and fire types, as well as Chansey who hatched out of an egg he won in an contest.
He traveled around Kanto, and some of the Orange Islands before staying with Professor Ivy for awhile. Things didn't go so well and he later reunited with Ash, Misty, and their new friend Tracy at Ash's home in Kanto. Tracy stayed to be Professor Oak's assistant and Brock rejoined Ash and Misty to explore the Johto region. After Ash competed there the three friends split up with the three friends returning to their homes. When he got home he found his mother had returned and had turned it into a water gym. Brock battled her and won returning the gym to its rock pokemon roots and making his brother Forrester the new gym leader.
He then joined Ash in Hoen along with his new friends May and Max. He left again only to return to rejoin Ash and Dawn in the Sinoh region before finally going home for good to become a Pokemon doctor. He got a letter with a key and decided to take a chance as he'd been unlucky in love before. His school didn't start for a few months anyway and this would be a fun vacation.

Brock smiled as he walked off the boat finding the first woman he saw. Mai Valentine. He smiled rushing over to her grabbing her hand as he looked at her.
"You're eyes are like sapphires and your face is so radiant. You must be the one I'm looking for." said Brock.
"What? Now look here buster." said Mai.
She was interrupted as a flash of white flew out of his pocket as Croagunk appeared. He then punched Brock in the stomach and began pulling him away leaving the woman speechless at what had just happened.
"I never thought I'd see them rejecting themselves. But I wonder what that thing was. It couldn't be a Duel Monster. Could it?" said Mai.
Puzzled she turned and walked away heading back to the mansion.
Brock meanwhile had recovered glancing at Croagunk.
"Croagunk. I thought I left you at home. This is my chance to find my true love. And I don't want you to ruin it for me. Return!" said Brock.
He held up the Pokeball as Croagunk turned into a white ball of energy and flew back into the Pokeball. Brock made a mental note to leave his Pokemon in his room as he headed off to the hotel wondering if he'd run into any more beautiful women here.
