(playing this guy pre-move, post-curse )
Name: Cogsworth
Age: 30’s
Sexual Orientation: Bi (now, come on, let’s not kid ourselves)
Image:
Key/Lock Holder: Left to RP. Mwah.
Brief History:
In case you have no childhood...Cogsworth is the head of household of Prince Adam’s castle. When the prince refused to let an ugly beggar woman into the castle for shelter, the beggar woman revealed herself to be an enchantress and laid a curse on the castle, turning the prince into a monstrous beast and all of those living in the castle into inanimate objects. Cogsworth was transformed into a clock (haha, “cogs”, get it?). He has had many mishaps with his friend Lumiere’s (a candle) shenanigans with breaking the mater’s rules.
So, it’s vacation time at the magical island of love. He sort of hoped Lumiere wasn’t invited (but I do >: D).
Sample Post:
To be blunt, Cogsworth was having a hard time relaxing. It felt strange to be in a large estate that he didn’t have to upkeep. Being so used to life in the enchanted castle, he didn’t find it easy to mind his own business. He just felt inclined to snap at anyone who looked like they were stirring up trouble, scaring the bejezzus out of a few who didn’t think he would move. It was actually disheartening when he realized he probably was getting on everyone’s bad side. What made it worse was that he really didn’t have any power here, although he still had the attitude that he did. He was still having some trouble loosening up, even after a couple days.
He was making an attempt to cool down by leaning on the wall from atop a table in a lobby. As he’d been standing there a while, he started to feel sleepy. He was used to dozing off where he stood back at the castle, but since had a room now, he tried to take advantage of it. Right now, he wasn’t feeling up to making the trip to his room, so he remained leaning back, his eyes half-closed.
He realized he needed to get used to not having to worry about everything before he could really start forming relationships. He wasn’t incredibly committed to finding romance, but whatever happened, well, just happened, he figured. It was sort of pain to get folks past the whole talking clock thing. What was perhaps more annoying was that some were inclined to pick him up. It made him feel so…insignificant. Most of the guests being a good number of times his size also made it intimidating. He hoped the next person he spoke with wasn’t going to that, not if they wanted to immediately try his nerves.
(I’ll apply for more girls soon, I promise; I just had a goal to get him done today)
