A Small World After All

[Silvermist]

(ooc: July 10th, just for Silvermist and Gadget)

Silvermist sure did feel at home right now, being able to be near water once again as the fairy walked across the pool water, wings fluttering as to keep herself above the water itself before she gathered some in her hands and bought it up to her mouth in order to take a sip from it.

Soon, she just seemed to hum away to herself as she started to slowly fly around the pool for a few moments before leaving and landing on the edge of the pool with a rather content smile upon her face.

At least she was glad, in a way that she was all alone, but yet, at the same time, she still did wish there was someone that she could talk to as well. But so far, she had seen no other fairies, nor anyone else that was around the same size as herself.

[Gadget]

Funnily enough, Gadget was thinking the same thing as she walked. There weren't any mice around here, in fact, there were no people that she could really talk to without the fear of them actually crushing her. She stopped by the pool, and sighed. She seriously wished she could go home, and yet at the same time, not. SHe wanted to find out who her special person was. She was so tired.

[Silvermist]

As Slvermist remained where she was, she did glance around for a moment, at first, she did catch eye of Gadget, but first just shrugged it off. After all, it was just a mouse of some sort walking around on two leg, wearing clothes and around her height as well, that was all.

But then, the fairy had to look over a second time, realizing what she had seen and already, decided to get curious on the matter as she flew over towards Gadget and just seemed to stare at her for a moment or two before shaking her head a little "Sorry, I just haven't seen anything like you before is all"

[Gadget]

To say Gadget was suprised was a understatement. To see a human that was her size was incredibly strange. She laughed as she looked "It's okay. I'm used to it, a lot of people do a double take if they see me. If they see me." She looked at her "I haven't seen anyone like you either. All the people who resemble you are bigger than me."

[Silvermist]

Silvermist let off a small little giggle "I know, but that's only cause I'm a fairy" she replied back as she landed on the ground "And I usually only see ones like you on four legs....and can't actually talk at all, just with squeaks and all that" she spoke again, yet, let off a smile to Gadget as well before extending a hand "I'm Silvermist"

[Gadget]

"I've heard about fairies, I've never actually seen one though." Gadget didn't mention that most people, herself not included seeing as though she believed in some strange things, didn't believe in fairies. She sighed as Silvermist mentioned the mice that weren't like her "I don't know why I'm not like them. Maybe it's just a family thing" She smiled and took Silvermist's hand and shook it "I'm Gadget, it's great to meet you Silvermist"

[Silvermist]

"Maybe" Silvermist started back when Gadget mentioned that it could be a family thing, but really, didn't seem to mean anything by it "Oh, and it's good to meet you too Gadget. So, what are you doing out here anyway?" she decided to enquire first to the two legged mouse.

Though, her eyes did gaze back at the water, then to Gadget once again as she did smile to her once more "Because all I was doing was just having a bit of fun on the water before I headed to the edge to have a small rest"

[Gadget]

Gadget looked to the side for the moment then back to Silvermist "I was kinda lonely. Like I said, I haven't seen anyone who's my size. And it's kinda hard to talk to someone who's taller and bigger than you." Why I'm spilling all this to you I don't know. Maybe it's just because you are my size. She looked at the water curiously "Excuse me for asking, but what do you mean fun on the water?"

[Silvermist]

"Oh! I'll show you!" Silvermist spoke up again, grabbed Gadget by the hand and pulling her towards the edge of the pool before flittering her wings and flying in front of Gadget, still seeming to hold onto her hand "Watch this, you might like it" she spoke and let go of the girl's hand.

She flew out onto the water, landing onto it and looked out ahead before crouching down, scooping up some water in her hands and flew ahead, slowly, but surely, letting the water drip out.

She then turned back around and started to move again, but instead in more of a walking fashion, with big leaps in order to create ripples in the water before stopping right in front of Gadget "You know, stuff like that"

[Gadget]

Gadget followed Silvermist to the edge of the water, not sure what she was planning. As the fairy walked onto the water and used her powers on it, Gadget was amazed Ho-how is she doing that? It breaks all the laws of physics. Wait, I'm talking to a fairy, a creature who everyone says doesn't exist, the sciences go out the window. She grinned at Silvermist as she returned "Wow!! That's amazing Silvermist!! Can all fairies do that?" She was feeling a lot better now that someone was here who she could talk to.

[Silvermist]

"Well, sort of. I'm a water fairy you see, so I can only do water related stuff, there are other kind of fairies around too, like light faries, nature fairies, animal faries, tinker faries....pretty much all sorts of faries" Silvermist did her best to explain to Gadget as she flew back to the edge, landing beside Gadget.

[Gadget]

Gadget sort of understood. It was like how several of the mice in her place had different talents. Nothing like the fairies, but things like music, art, languages etc. She was an expert in technology, and she was the only one who could. It did make her feel a bit special. "That's interesting. Where are you from anyway?" Gadget knew it wasn't any big cities or something, as a lot of people could in fact see her.

[Silvermist]

"Pixie Hollow" Silvermist replied back before she thought on that for just a moment more "You know, perhaps you should go there sometime, you might like it there....I could perhaps even show you at some point too" she suggested before deciding to also enquire about Gadget a bit more.

"What about you? Where do you come from?" was the first thing Silvermist wanted to ask Gadget.

[Gadget]

Gadget slowly turned the name over in her mind. Pixie Hollow, such a nice name She said as much to Silvermist "Sounds nice. I'd like to see it sometimes." She listened as Silvermist asked where she came from, fidgeting a little.

"New York. It's probably not as nice as Pixie Hollow, but you should still come and see it.". Hopefully, no one would notice the fact that she was looking a bit sad about it.

[Silvermist]

"New York?" Silvermist did gasp a little at that "That must be on the mainland, one of those big cities....I guess like London" she explained to Gadget somewhat "But I would like to see it....perhaps I could go with you to see it at some point?" she suggested at first.

But then, looking at Gadget a second time, she did notice that she was starting to look sad "I guess you miss it huh?"
