A Small World After All

[Gadget]

Gadget nodded "One of the biggest, I haven't even seen a quarter of it yet" She gently touched the water, feeling it's lush feeling run around her hand. She waited for a minute before she answered Silvermist "Yes and no. Yes, I miss the places that I explore, and my home, it holds a lot of memory. No... the people can be a little judgemental when they see me. There's just less people who are my friends, and more who don't like me" She decided not to continue unless she would get asked by Silvermist.

[Silvermist]

Silvermist thought on what Gadget said for a moment or two before she spoke up again "Well, would you want another friend?" she wanted to ask first, offering herself as a friend for Gadget to be able to talk to "Because it sure does sound like you could use another friend" she added in, giving Gadget a bit of a smile as she did so.

[Gadget]

Gadget was genuinely touched. It wasn't very often that someone she met asked if they could be her friends. Truth be told, she only had about two friends, and they had taken a while for her to win over "I'd love that, Silvermist. Like I said, I'm even lonelier on this island. So having a friend would be nice."

[Silvermist]

"Yeah, especially on what you're suppose to do on this island too, find love and the one who you truly belong with. Too bad I don't know who I would end up with right now, since there's no one else my size around here....well, except you of course" Silvermist spoke up to her, giving Gadget a bit of a smile as well, showing that she wasn't even bought down by any of those facts herself.

[Gadget]

Gadget nodded at Silvermist's words. It didn't occur to her that Silvermist's word may have a message in them. She was just looking for a friend and she had found someone. "I know. I'm really interested that my true love could be on this island. Though I was missing home, I feel much better now I've found you." She was saying the truth, she was feeling a lot closer to Silvermist than anyone else.

[Silvermist]

Silvermist looked at Gadget for a moment and smiled to her "I know, like me, I do miss Pixie Hollow and seeing my own friends...." she paused for a moment "You know something, I'm sure they'd love to meet you as well, and hey, you never know, you might just be able to make even more friends with them as well....even Vidia" she laughed in the end.

"But, I guess I am glad that you're feeling better, I mean, no point in really feeling sad in the end, doesn't really help anything really" Silvermist added in. But then she paused again and decided to enquire about it anyway "So....who do you think your true love would be? Anyone special you have in mind?"

[Gadget]

"That would be nice. You must have some nice friends" Gadget was gently tracing the water with her finger when Silvermist asked who her true love would be like.

It did give her pause for though, as she had never really thought what she would like to have as a boyfriend. Or Girlfriend she reminded herself. She had had an awkward crush on one of the high school seniors which ended badly and dragged her down further in popularity circles. She though for a bit "I'd like it to be someone who's kind, and nice. I'd also like it to be someone who didn't make fun of me just because I do different things. What about you?" Gadget had to admit, there was something in her stomach that was making her feel nervous. She didn't know what it was.

[Silvermist]

"But being different is a good thing, it means you're not like anyone else, and you can do things that no one else can do" Silvermist told Gadget "And I guess if they make fun of you for being different....it's cause they're just jealous of you" she spoke, but in a more whispering tone at that point.

But then, Gadget asked her the same thing more or less as Silvermist headed to the water again, a few feet away from Gadget as she walked along the water, taking bigish-like leaps as she did so "Well, I don't know really, I hadn't thought about it too much....but being nice and kind, that would be a nice thing to have....wouldn't want anyone who's horrible you know, otherwise, we'd just have too many arguements"

[Gadget]

"I suppose" Gadget looked at Silvermist as she walked on the water. She had to admit, Silvermist was very beautiful. With her long black hair, perfect figure and gentle smile, she looked perfect. Gadget felt a little flutter in he stoamch, which was starting to make her nervous. She opened her nouth "Your right. Ummm, Silvermist... Never mind."

[Silvermist]

Silvermist glanced over at Gadget whom did speak up at first, but then did seem to shrug off what she was going to say "Oh okay" she begun "I thought you wanted to tell me something else, but I guess I was wrong" she did seem to giggle a little at that though as she left the water and fluttered back over to where Gadget was, standing next to her.

[Gadget]

Gadget braced herself as Silvermist sat by her. This was going to be hard but she was going to ask a question that she needed to ask "I was going to say something. I was just wondering..." she faltered and then braced herself "If you'd like to go on a date with me." She closed her eyes and waited for Silvermist's response.

[Silvermist]

The question didn't even seem to suprise Silvermist all that much. Sure, the question itself was suprising, but Silvermist didn't show it or anything along those lines anyway "A date?" she asked back as she looked at Gadget.

Granted, she did have to think on it for a moment or two, after all, Gadget was probabally the only one her size that was around here right now, and besides, it could probabally end up being fun as well "Well, a date does sound rather nice" she added in before giving off another smile "Yeah, a date"

[Gadget]

"Okay, that'll will be great." Gadget had to admit, she hadn't been expecting the feelings to be strong, nor that the fairy would accept her offer "When do you want to go on the date?" Gadget was feeling both nervous and elated.

[Silvermist]

Again, Silvrmist wasn't too certain as to when they could go on a date. She looked at Gadget for a few moments as she continued to think on what Gadget had asked her, about when they should go on a date. But after a few moments, she finally spoke up in order to break the silence between them "Well, I'm not sure really, but I wouldn't mind when myself. What about you? When would you want to go on the date?" she decided to ask back.

[Gadget]

Gadget felt a little embarrassed, she hadn't thought of that "Ummm, how about tomorrow? I mean, we could meet up her and then head around the island. And Silvermist, are you sure you''re okay with me asking you on a date? Cause if not, I'll never mention it again." She meant that , although she wanted to know her better, she also didn't want her to feel pressured.
