(ooc: i had to do it with this title. Date is...uh...July 17th, open to Ami and Meowzie)
Ami had been so busy in the playroom she didn't realize that it was very late in the day. She had been having so much fun in the mansion and on the island, she had barely anytime in her own room. She had gotten a new book that had been taunting her for awhlle, Now she had the chance to read it. Slowly climbing up the stairs she made her way to her room

It felt so wonderful to be in a big mansion again. Meowzie hadn't been in such a luxurious place in quite a long time, not since her old trainer abandoned her, and was quite enjoying her stay. It wasn't all wonderful, though. The lock gently thumping against her chest as she walked reminded the scratch cat Pokemon she had been brought to the mansion for a reason, namely for finding love. So far, the little kitty hadn't been all that successful in that aspect. She hadn't found anyone that looked remotely interesting to her, but Meowzie wasn't going to give up. Not this easily.
At that particular moment, Meowzie lay curled up beside a door she was sure led to someone's room. She lifted one of her dainty paws and began to clean it with her tongue. No more having to worry about filth from the streets getting between her claws. Content little kitty was content. Suddenly, though, she found herself distracted by the sound of footsteps. Intrigued, Meowzie stopped cleaning her paw and looked about to see what she could see.

Ami nearly squeeled with delight at the cute cat that lay in front of the door. Tekirai was her cat at the moment but she was forced to leave her behind. It was nice to see another animal around. "Hello there pretty kitty!" Ami said trying to keep her voice from going any higher with delight "How are you?"

"Meow?"
Meowzie had been correct, it seemed. The human that had approached her was much stranger in appearance than her old human, but that didn't matter. Meowzie was just glad to have someone to spend a little time with even if it was just for a short while. Pretty little normal type rose to her paws and let a warm smile grace her face. A street Meowth she may have been for some time, but at heart she was still a pampered little Pokemon. Surely Ami could see that. The only downside seemed to be the language barrier. Why couldn't Pokemon speak the language of...
Wait. You don't want to be like that freak Meowth, do you?
No. Of course she didn't. Meowzie reasoned that a Pokemon speaking the same language as humans just was unnatural. So, she opted instead to close the little gap between her and Ami and bumped her head affectionately against Ami's hand. If one wasn't mistaken, soft purring could be heard coming from deep within the little cat Pokemon.

"AWWW You are just soooo precious!" Ami said giving the cat a scratch behind the ears. "Did you come here because of this game too?" she asked as she showed the cat the lock on her chest. "That's what I'm here for, to find my prince charming...or at least that's what people are saying. I don't know though, I think its just fun to meet new people and new friends." she smiled again before rubbing the cat's fur.

Purring grew louder still as Ami began to scratch her behind the ears. Meowzie loved the feeling of the action, especially since she hadn't felt such a thing since before she'd been abandoned. The question of whether or not she was to be participating in the game, once addressed, caused Meowzie to look down at the lock around her neck. A little nod followed, the cat-like Pokemon lacking words with which she could communicate, and there appeared to be a hint of sadness in her eyes. She didn't even know if there was someone out there for her. The one Meowth that had shown interest in her was a freak, and none of the gang she had been taken in by was her sort of Pokemon.
Prince Charming? Meowzie wondered. Was that what humans called the person they loved? It seemed like an interesting term. She had to nod again despite that. Meowzie would have liked to have someone to love.

Ami smiled down at the lock around the cat's neck. "Oh how wonderful! that means i am not alone in this. Have you seen any cuties around?" she asked. Who was she kidding the cat couldn't understand her let alone answer? It would be delightful if she could but that was Ami's dream and not reality. "Listen to me, talking as if you could speak back. Sounds ridiculous huh?"

Meowzie shook her head in response to the question. She hadn't seen anyone that she would even remotely be interested in, and this had disheartened her a little bit. The young Pokemon didn't really know what she was looking for at all, either. How was she meant to find love when she couldn't even figure out what kind of Pokemon would make her happy? She'd been happy before with material goods and a lavish lifestyle, but after she'd been abandoned it had become more difficult to say what would make her happy. Ami seemed to be a nice person, though. Perhaps she was someone Meowzie could at least consider a friend.
Oh! I haven't even introduced myself to her! Meowzie realized. With her lack of communication in a language Ami could speak, she'd almost neglected to let her new friend know she had an identity. Meowzie let a couple of soft meows escape her, hoping to get across that her name had to do with the sound.
