Toaster sighed. "It's okay. I'm just sick of getting treated like a freak, I mean it's not like I chose to look like this, the toaster sighed."Anyway, what's his problem?" he asked Bonz.

Brock turned to May and reluctantly nodded.
"You're right. There's plenty of time for romance. And that is a good dress. I'm glad I thought to bring this tux or I'd feel out of place in my normal clothes." said Brock.
He smiled glancing at Dawn and wondered if any of the others would show up. He turned to May again before speaking.
"I hope Ash is doing okay in the Unova region. I heard from him a couple times after I left. Sometimes I wish I stayed." said Brock.
He trailed off a bit sad beore he smiled again remembering the old days. A part of him wished he could have kept traveling with Ash but he he wanted to become a Pokemon doctor. And he knew he had to return home and study to do that.

Snow White listened as Bridget decided to serve the food. Some people and animals here were so impatient here. She wondered if they acted like this all the time or if they were just hungry. She headed into the kitchen after her to help out. She walked over to Bridget and the others.
"I didn't realize so many of them would be so rude. Maybe they'll settle down with some food. Are we ready to serve them yet?" said Snow White.
(ooc: I'm assuming we have more staff members that are just npcs. Otherwise Snow & Bridget have a LOT of work to do. xD)

Mai turned hearing Joey speak before sitting down. He didn't seem that bad and certainly was more patient than some of the others here. She frowned when she heard someone else complain about the food. But thankfully they were about to be served as she spotted the two maids leaving. At least she was sitting between two sane people. She smiled at Joey.
"You certainly have a way with words. It's nice to know there's at least one man on this island with some manners." said Mai.

"Hey. That's cool." Hiro hovered down to the chair on Ami's other side with her jetpack, before turning it off and landing with a quiet 'whump'. He leaned against the table with both his elbows, smiling somewhat comedically. "Anyways, I'm from Jaan, too. What are the odds?" He chuckled to himself.
"Anyways, sounded like they were just about ready to start passing out food, so I decided to come down. Not like there's a lot I can build around here, anyways." He pulled the key out of his jacket. "Not like I could little tinker with this." He turned to Ami. "So, what brings you here?"

Toyo pulled her own lock and key out of her cleavage, so they laid on the outside of her kimono. She smiled as the two younger children approached. "Well, well. I definitely wasn't expecting to see three others from Japan as well." Though there was something weird about the boy. He seemed to be clothed in strange metals. Nothing like armor.
She turned her attetion back to Nyu now, though. "Well, if Lucy doesn't like it here, then why did she choose to come? I don't suppose you already have a boyfriend at home, do you?" she asked out of curiosity. Nyu seemed like such an innocent and nice girl. Hopefully any guy her was dating her treated her with the proper respect.

Joey looked over at the woman who was sitting next to him. He hadn't met Mai yet, but she seemed to be talking to him. He shrugged and let his chest swell a little iwht pride as she complimented him. "Eh, it's not dat big of a deal. Some people just need to learn they can actually wait. Like in Duel Monsters," he commented, not knowing if anyone here played the game or not, "it's pretty darn rude to interupt someone, when it's deir turn. Worse to complain about it, too, cause at least you can t'ink while you're waiting. That is, unless the other guy is just laughing because they can make you wait so long."
He sat up a little bit more politely as Bridget and Snow White went into the kitchen. He still kept his attention trained on Mai, though. "So, what brings a girl like you to dis kind of joint. Seems like you could get a boyfriend pretty easily. Or were you raised in some sort of town filled with jerks, like I did?"

"You're a duelist?" asked Mai.
She was surprised another duelist was here. But with both boats docked at the same port she guessed there might be more here too.
"I got the invitation to come here but I decided not to. I was on my way to Duelist Kingdom to win the prize money. I know I would have won if I didn't get on the wrong boat. I didn't see a sign but I guess I could have missed one. At least in duel monsters you can pick you strategies to win. But love well isn't as easy." said Mai.
She paused realizing she hadn't answers his second question.
"Yeah. Most people in my town were jerks too. I kind of kept to myself playing duel monsters." said Mai.

"Oh, I came here like everyone else did, find out if there is a prince charming out there for me. I used to be in a band but my friend Yumi used to get all the attention. It really wasn't that bad but it was kind of a let down." she smiled a bright smile. "But being here is really putting a prespective on things." and so far everything she said was true. She did like it here. Everyone minus a few people seemed to be pleasant to be around |

Falco heard Toaster's question and responds, "This kid is tired of everybody thinking he is a monster because of his appearance. Personally, I don't think he looks like a monster and I've seen a lot of monsters."

May smiled back at her friend. "Well, that's why were here after all." May said, sighing after Brock brought up Ash into their conversation. Like expected she did miss him. Even though she went her own way after Ash explored Hoenn, like Brock their was still part of her that still wanted to stay with him. "Yeah, I'm sure he's doing fine, after all nothing keeps Ash down." she said, trying to cheer Brock up.

Toaster crossed his arms after Falco explained Bonz's situation. "Well, that's stupid." he said, annoyed by this. It was stupid to judge by appearance's, if that were the case then he was a girl. "anyway, you don't look like a monster." Toaster said with a smile, trying to cheer him up.

Nyu looked over at the two new comers, "Hello!" She smiled and looked back at Toyo, a boyfriend? Nyu tapped her chin and thought about that one boy that helped her out, Koda. She blushed and thought about Lucy's memories of him and a few other things that had gone on. Shaking her head she looked up at Toyo innocently playing with the charms.
"Lucy got the letter, it seemed rude to refuse, Nyuu," she said, "Nyu doesn't have a boyfriend. Just know a boy named Koda."

Joey blinked curiously at Mai about her first question. "Doesn't everyone play Duel Monsters?" Granted, he hadn't challenged anyone on the island, but it definitely didn't seem like a Duel Monsters tournament, anyways. He leaned back in his chair and sighed.
"Yeah. I figued t'ings weren't right, when I got here. First off, dere weren't no Pegasus. Den I remembered dat Yugi got a glove or somet'ing. All I got was dis stupid key." Joey sighed. "I really need dat dough for my sister's operation, too. She's about to go blind, and it's all going to be my fault."
He folded his hands behind his back. "It's really too bad. I'm kinda too worried about my family to be able to enjoy any of dis stuff. Might have been fun, too. Never been asked out by a girl before, though my pal Tristan got himself a girlfriend once."

Hiro grinned and chuckled to himself. If he realized that he would be sitting in such a great place, he might have brought a few of his inventions to show off. Of course he left his x-ray goggles upstairs. Don't wouldn't be subtle at all during a dinner, and he knew Aphrodite would probably confiscate them, if he brought them to such a formal event. He had other toys, too, but he blushed, thinking he was being such a child right now.
He nodded and smiled back at Ami as he listened to her. "So you were part of a band, huh? That must have been interesting. What instrument did you play?"

Toyo was also absent-mindedly playing fingering the key she had received. She noticed that Lucy had been the first woman she met on the island who shared the distinct feature of carrying both a lock and key, like herself. She decided it was best not to bring it up, however, in case it turned out to be a sensitive subject standing out like that. She instead decided to focus on this Koda boy.
"So, Koda? Is he a nice boy, then?" She kept her smile simple and sincere. Nyu didn't seem much of a rival to the point where she might help the little sweetie find a guy. She folded her hands beneath her chin. "Did he happen to know about your coming here?"

Krystal walks in wearing a dress, with matching shoes, that is the same shade of purple as her flight suit. She wasn't shocked that there were so many people she could tell with her abilities that there were a lot of people and the dinning room was pretty noisy. What did shock was that she saw Falco, still the same noisy bird, and that one of the minds in the room seemed different. Only way she could describe is that it is more powerful and it seemed to be coming from a man wearing sunglasses leaning against the wall. Krystal took a seat, alone, and waited for a server to arrive.

Bridget came in with several plates trying to be very careful with them. "Dinner is served." she said happily, placing the plates in front of everyone. "We will be getting to know what each person likes shortly, since this is the first time we've really gotten to know you but i do hope its to your liking." she said before slipping through the kitchen

Ami smiled, at least someone was interested, Not to mention this guy was super cute. "I played the drums, i still do but well, its not the same without a cool lead guitarist." she said, "Prehaps i can show you sometime, if you liked?"
