Ballroom Blitz

[Beast Boy]

"I am sort of the instructor." Bow said with a tiny smile. At least more girls were coming in. "I'm Lady Bow, its a pleaure to meet you. And, is that ruffian a friend of yours?" her eyebrows raised at Falco. "He is quite the stubborn one isn't he?" It was clear that Bow didn't like this Falco at all, had no manners that was for sure. It was starting to get annoying. "Prehaps you can smack some manners into him?"

[Ikuto]

"Can I do it?" Ikuto asked pushing off the wall, "It seems like it'd be a bit more entertaining than this."

The cat boy, completely ignored the girls it was a tactic that seemed to work a lot better than actually being nice to them.

Robin leaned back against the wall and ignored Nyu. He really didn't want to be here, but he wasn't a coward.

Nyu sighed and backed away from the boys. They seemed so mean, maybe Lucy would like them. But not Nyu. She just wanted everyone to get along.

"Nyu..." she said looking towards Lady Bow, "When will we start?"

[Falco]

"I'm a ruffian?! Okay you'll get no argument from me there," Falco said to Lady Bow. Falco then says to Ikuto, "Are you trying to start something kid?!"

"Nice to meet you Lady Bow, I'm Krrystal. And no, if manners could be smacked into him he would probably be the most behaved one in this room. I wouldn't call him a friend either, I just work with him," Krystal says to Lady Bow. "Falco, just calm down," Krystal says to Falco, clearly getting tired of him.

[Beast Boy]

"Well if there were more girls, we could get started now because i am pretty sure that these boys do not want to dance with other men. Unless they really want to." the girl smirked as she fanned her face. "But i suppose i could pair the ones up right now and see where it goes..."

[Hubert]

"My apologies, but might I inquire on whether or not this is the right place?"

Hubert, surprisingly for him, found himself a little on the late side that particular day. Trying to locate one Amarcian in a huge mansion had proven to be a difficult task, and so Hubert had decided to put that aside temporarily so that he could at least try to enjoy himself somewhat. After all, he was technically on vacation. He might as well enjoy himself while he was there. The prospect of taking a refresher course on dancing didn't strike him as a terrible idea, either. Hubert might not have looked like it, but he did know a little bit about ballroom dancing. It was mainly because his father had wanted him to have at least a little knowledge of graceful movements before trying to court any ladies. His skills were, admittedly, a bit rusty despite that. This didn't seem like a bad time to try and refresh his memory.

"I was looking for the ballroom, as I had heard there might be a bit of dancing going on today, and I thought it might best suit my needs if I were to refresh myself with this class. That is... if I haven't made some mistake and found the entirely wrong room." Hubert said. It didn't look like the wrong place, but it never hurt to make sure.

[Beast Boy]

"Oh dear me, of course you have not found the wrong room." Lady bow was relieved to see a boy with class. unlike the other two. They were obviously nothing compared to this gentleman. "It is about time someone here has class." she said closing her fan. "I'm Lady Bow, a dance instructor and who might you be?" she asked giving him a tiny curtsy before giving Ikuto and Robin a cold glance.

"Dude, what got up this chick's panties." A green skinned boy entered the room. "Robin, dude!"

[Ikuto]

Ikuto rolled his eyes and stretched his arms over his head. This lady was starting to wear on his last nerve. With a cold glance at her he looked around and pulled his violin out. "How about instead of dancing we have real music miss?" he said, "I'd be happy to oblige."

Robin almost smiled, "Beast Boy, finally a face I recognize. What are you doing here?"

[Hubert]

Well, at least you managed to find the right place.

Relieved that he had succeeded in that much, Hubert felt he could at least oblige in answering Lady Bow's question. It was only fair that he introduce himself, after all. "My name is Hubert. Hubert Oswell. It is an honor to make your acquaintance." Hubert said. He bowed politely as he finished speaking and then raised himself up again to look at the motley crew that had been put together to learn about the ways of the dance. It appeared to be made up mainly of guys. That fact didn't do much to surprise Hubert, mainly since back when he had first been learning to dance it had been mainly men and the handful of Strahtan women in his unit that had been learning at the time. How they were going to pull this off was easy enough for Hubert to guess. Unless a few more women showed up, men would have to dance with men.

"When shall we begin?" Hubert asked. He actually wanted to get started as soon as possible. The blue-haired teen thought at least somewhere in the back of his mind that he would have to try and dance with Pascal at some point. Unless it was some crazy fantasy, he'd need to be ready for it.

[Joey Wheeler]

Great! Anoder dog girl! And even more guys! At least the pink-haired girl's cute. Joey sighed in exasperation. "Man, dis stinks. I can't dance wid a guy. No one back at school would let me live it down."

He rubbed the back of his head as he took a step back. "Seriously. I t'ought girls were into dis kind of stuff." He swiped his foot across the floor twice. He probably didn't even have the right kind of shoes for this sort of dancing. He was seriously beginning to think about leaving the ballroom.

[Falco]

Falco was getting even more irritated. Falco said to Ikuto, "Don't ignore me!"

Krystal sighed when she realized that nothing would get Falco to calm down. Krystal says to Hubert, "It's nice to meet you Hubert, my name is Krystal." Krystal then says to Lady Bow, "Just try ignoring them, that is what I try to do. When are we getting starting?"

[Ikuto]

"Sorry you were talking?" Ikuto said looking at Falco with a bored tone.

Nyu smiled and walked over to Joey, "Nyu, no one else seems to want to dance. Do you want to dance with me? This could be fun right, ~nyu?"

[Hubert]

"There's no shame in a man learning to dance." Hubert remarked casually. He wanted to add some biting comment about how those who considered themselves too many could just take a hike, but he held his tongue. The last thing Hubert needed was to go around making enemies by commenting on such things. Besides, he found his attention diverted by a female voice. The speaker was named Krystal, evidently, and didn't seem to be too bad a person based on her appearance. Hubert had to admit she was looking like one of the only ones present that didn't have to be dragged kicking and screaming to the ballroom, at least that was how it appeared in his mind.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Krystal." Hubert said. Now all they had to do was wait for Bow to get them started. How long could that possibly take?

[Joey Wheeler]

"Nyah!" Joey flinched in surprise. He hadn't expected the only girl his age to actually choose him out of the lot. He rubbed the back of his head and laughed nervously. "Well, I mean, if you want. I mean, I'm sure it'll be fun. Don't see why it can't be." He grinned and held his hand out, still feeling a little out of place. "I mean, it's not like I've tried dis before or anyt'ing."

[Lucy/Nyu]

Nyu smiled and took Joey's hand, "Let's ask Lady Bow what to do, ~nyu." She giggled and shrugged her shoulders lightly, "I don't really know what to do either. I've never danced before. nyu nyu." She started to walk over to the dance instructor.

[Blackfire]

(Ok. I know we've got Ami, Lucy, Bow, Krystal, and Laila here, but I figured we could use another girl or two here.)

Blackfire decided she might as well enjoy herself, if she had to be stuck here. This was supposed to be a relaxtion spot apparently. Besides, if there was a party, why shouldn't she attend. This, however, was much different from what she had expected, walking into the ballroom. It wasn't exactly her nightclub dancing. Still, it was better than being stuck in her room, throwing darts at an outdated picture of her sister, for the tenth day in a row.

That was until she saw two young men in particular. She raised her hands, about ready to blast their heads off, before catching herself. She took a deep breath. Two deep breaths, and another then. Getting rid of them would do nothing for her. It's not like they were Starfire. Besides, if one of these two happened to hold the key that was supposed to sync up with her lock, it probably would be better to befriend them.

She walked up to Beast Boy and Robin, smiling widely. "Robin! B-Boy! What are the odds?" She held up the lock wrapped around her wrist. "I mean, to think that you two would get dragged into this. I thought you both were quite the ladies' men back at your place. Am I right?"
