Well, at least now I won't have to be a total wallflower.
Hubert was, at the very least, relieved that someone had answered his question. Bow seemed like she knew what she was doing even though it sounded as though she was a little rusty, but Hubert could forgive that little blip on the radar. He wasn't exactly a master dancer either. This was mainly because it had been a long time since he had gone to any formal dances. "It's quite all right. I'm probably not all that light on my feet these days. It's... been a while since I actually was on the dance floor," he explained.
There was something odd about the way she was smiling at him, but Hubert couldn't pinpoint just what that was. All he knew was that it had sent a chill down his spine and caused him to shudder ever so slightly. Deciding not to dwell on that fact, Hubert extended his hand for Bow to take. "Shall we, my lady?"

Lady Bow smiled. At least she still had that spooky charm about her. She walked over to the music and pushed play. Causing soft waltz music to fill the room. "Let's." with a curt nod, she took his hand. she smiled at Lucy and Joey. "It seems you have done this before." she pointed out to the two. "I didnt' realize i had real genteman in the house."

Hubert couldn't hide that he was feeling just a little embarrassed at the present moment. The only reason he knew anything about dance was because of his foster father and what little his real parents had taught him before he had been adopted out. But that was the past. Ignoring that fact, it was still embarrassing to be praised so. Hubert felt his cheeks warm just a little as he shifted his position and gently placed his free hand against Bow's waist. Flattery, it seemed, was something she was quite good at. Hubert was convinced that his skills were still rusty, so the praise felt a bit unnecessary.
"It isn't so hard to believe that some young men still possess manners, is it?" Hubert asked. There was a hint of humor in his tone, as if he was poking fun at some of the other men present, but it was so slight that it might have been missed. Hubert wasn't expecting anyone to catch on, at any rate. "And you flatter me. To be honest, it's been quite some time since I even attempted to waltz with anyone. I don't suspect your toes are in any danger, though." Hubert chuckled. In a way, he was warming himself up for the real challenge. The real challenge, needless to say, would be attempting to waltz with Pascal. Hubert somehow suspected that the slightly older woman would have no knowledge of dancing. But that would be dealt with when the time came. For the moment, Hubert was content to see if he still had some skill with Lady Bow.

"Oh believe me, the boys i have had to deal with, they have been real monsters." she replied turning her attention back to Hubert. "Some of these boys here have no manners at all, especially that green haired one over there." she notioned to Beast Boy who was busy trying to flirt with Blackfire. "But i think i will like it a bit more here..."
--- "Sorry I'm late Ya'll." a golden haired girl came entering the room. She wasn't exactly dressed for the occasion but she didn't mind. So long as she didn't have to do anything with tangos or whatever strange dances were out there. "I got lost."

Hubert shook his head subtly as he began the waltz, stepping slowly in a circle and carefully leading Bow in the dance, and seemed to agree with what she was saying. Some young men just needed the right nudge to get them going. Others... well, they were unable to be trained. Hubert could think of one young man right off the bat that was like that, and what was his older brother. He wasn't a completely hopeless cause, but there were times when Hubert wondered what had attracted Cheria to his brother in the first place.
"They probably just haven't had the right nudge to get them going yet. I wouldn't brush them off as hopeless causes... yet." Hubert stated. So far, so good. No incidents in stepping on her feet yet. Maybe you're not as rusty as you thought. he told himself. He had to admit that conversing with Bow while waltzing did feel natural. Maybe it was because it was taking away his nerves to some degree. Whatever the case, Hubert felt relaxed enough to continue the conversation as he continued to lead.
"Perhaps they'll gain some etiquette on this island. After all, if they ever hope to impress a young lady then... well, I can only hope they don't stay quite so unrefined forever." Hubert said. He wasn't going to attempt to change anyone, but he was of the humble opinion that perhaps the others would have more luck if their attitudes were just a bit better and their manners more evident. But who was he to complain? Hubert had been forced into an environment where he needed to learn such things at a young age. The others hadn't had that opportunity, so of course they had come out differently. He could only wonder if it was a good thing or not.

Had that new girl just said y'all? Ikuto looked up from the ground where he was now sitting with his violin. Being a bit of a wall flower like the masked boy on the opposite side of the room. He averted his gaze and went back to staring at the floor, taking the music appart. He wasn't just going to let this stupid dance teacher make him dance. It was stupid.

Ami smiled a tiny smile as she took Bonz's hand. "It's nice to meet you Bonz, I'm Ami, don't worry its not as bad as it seems. Dancing is always fun if you are dancing with someone else." she said swaying her feet to the music.
-- "Oh that's quite alright. Just find a partner or wait until we are finished." Lady Bow said addressing the new girl. "Is that alright with you?"
Mami nodded. "Sure is, Right as rain. I don't mind waitin' Its fun to watch other people dance."

"Hola, mi amigos!"
Tito rushed in rather late, jamming to the music as he popped in, feet salsa dancing their way towards the front of the room. Key jingling around his neck he rolled his shoulders in a shrug before trotting up towards the front of the room and grinning wildly at the teacher. "Name's Tito. So we gonna do some dancin' in this class or what? And I mean some REAL dancin' none of this frou frou nonsense, you get what I'm sayin' man? Salsa, meringue! That kind of thing!"
