Ballroom Blitz

[Lucky]

For a moment, Lucky's expression went blank. ".....Huh. You know, I never thought about WHY she wanted it exactly..." His gaze dropped to the floor as he thought about the answer. "Hm. That's a good question." He raised his head to look at her. "But if I know Cruella, it's something evil. Like....like maybe she's planning on setting up a vacation home for herself there, or ... or a new office building, or maybe a rest home for that stinky ferret she owns.."

He grinned. "You never know about her, really. She's insane. Someone who wants a dalmatian fur coat would HAVE to be."

[Laila]

Laila smiled back, using one paw to stifle a laugh. "Hehehe, I suppose so. She sounds worse than Charlie Anna. Sure, he was a disgusting brute, but he did have a lot of influence over others. I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up, honestly.." She replied. "Though he probably wouldn't find anyone to actually love. I don't really think he's capable of that." She said, giving a small sigh and a grin. "So, tell me, what's it like living on your farm with all of those siblings?"

[Lucky]

Lucky sighed. "Oh well....sometimes it can get annoying. One time, I went to go live with my Aunt Coco and Uncle Beamer because I got tired of having to share everything with everybody. I mean...you have to share everything. Food, sleeping space, toys...it gets old." He smiled. "But...then again, it's always nice to lay down with Rolly and Cadpig on a cold night. Um...that's my brother and sister. If I'm not mistaken I think they're here too somewhere."

He tilted his head, smiling at her with a wide-eyed, innocent smile. "What about you? Don't you have any family? Were you the only pup in your litter?"

Laila's gaze fell to the floor with a far-away expression. She didn't recall having any brothers or sisters. No Family. All she knew was what her life with Charlie and his group were like, then her brief time with Romeo. As she looked back up to see that his smile was innocent and wide eyed, the female couldn't help but give a small smile back. "I..don't recall. I was born on the street. I don't who birthed me, or if I had any siblings. I lived with Charlie and his group when I was still working, but..I never considered any of them to be my Family." She gave a small shrug. "Who in their right mind would.."

Toaster was about to help Lady Bow and her dancing, that was until he saw what appeared to doll slipping on the floor, and bow did she looked pissed, the teen could tell by her cursing.

"Hey are you okay?" he asked walking over to her, ready to help if needed.

"Yeah? Me neider." Joey rubbed the back of his head as he followed Nyu. "I mean, it's not like we had a buncha school dances or not'ing. Mostly focused on the education and all dat stuff. Really could get boring, when you t'ink about it. I t'ink Tristan really got the worst of it, actually having a girlfriend and all. Course, Tea seemed a bit highstrung, too."

He blushed as he approached Lady Bow. "S-so how exactly do we do dis t'ing?" This was like asking Mokuba, utterly embarassing. "I mean, you're supposed to hold the girl a proper way or somet'ing like dat, right?"

A sad expression crossed Lucky's face at that. "No siblings..?" Gosh. What would life be like without siblings? It'd be like......it'd be like being at Aunt Coco's and Uncle Beamer's all day, every day, except without all their cool toys, fancy food and wide screen TVs. He found the idea utterly depressing. "Have...you ever thought about getting a home with your own pets?" He asked. "Because.....we have plenty of room back home. I'm sure Mom and Dad wouldn't mind sharing their pets."

Laila's expression went blank for a little while. Usually, she had to avoid the 'Pet's, as Lucky called them, out of fear of being captured and brought to the pound. The female gave a shake of her head. "No, I haven't. Usually I had to run from them.." She replied as their dance ended.

Her eyes widened a little at what Lucky said next, the female dropping on to all our paws again. Did the pup just ask her, if she wanted, to stay with him and his family? "I.." She trailed off before looking away. "I'm not sure..I'll have to think about it...Thank you for the dance, Lucky. " She muttered, going over and shutting off the cd player as the song ended, though she didn't bother retrieving it as she headed towards the entrance/exit of the ballroom, giving a small nod to Lady Bow and everyone else as she passed though her gaze had a glassy look to it. The female felt..odd, she honestly didn't know what to say. As she nudged the door open with one paw, she looked over her shoulder and gave the Dalmatian pup another smile. "By the way, You dance well..." she said, before turning around the corner and disappeared.

[Lucy/Nyu]

Nyu giggled at Joey's awkwardness and rocked back and forth on her heals looking over her shoulder she noticed a new girl talking to the boy in the mask and a green skinned boy. She smiled at Joey and Lady Bow.

Robin sighed at Beast Boy's question and waved it off, "She wasn't my girlfriend nor was she ever going to be so drop it BB." He looked at Blackfire and grimmanced, pulling his retractable staff out from his belt. What was she doing here, he thought hidding the staff behind his back in case she tried something, "I don't think that's any of your business."

7 slammed the blunt end of her spear into the floor. She fixed the skull on her face so if covered her better. After regaining her footing, she held her weapon parralell to the floor. For a moment, she gave a glance up to the two non-human creatures above her. Not liking having to look up at them, she brought her head back down, obsureing her eyes with the skull.

"I'm fine," She mummured bitterly.

7 sighed, takeing a quick look around. Since she had oh so gracefully dropped in, she guessed it would be polite to participate. But at the first instance of any sort of nonsence, the snowy doll was leaving. The rag doll didn't have much of an idea of the concept of danceing so she was a little in the dark about what was going on.

"What is this?" She asked half-voice.

[Krystal]

Krystal replied to 7's question, "Well it is a ballroom dancing lesson." Krystal was fascinated by this being, she has never seen anything like 7. "Unfortunately, most of the guys here don't want to dance," Krystal added. Krystal was extremely curious as to what happened to 7 and what she is, so Krystal asked, "How did you end up sliding across the floor and, I hope I'm not imposing but, what are you?"

Lucky's mouth dropped open in saddened surprise. "What...Laila?? Laila!!! Wait Laila come back!!" Pup dashed after the femme, following her footsteps out of the ballroom. She was so nice and fun to talk to, and they were having such a nice conversation. Why did she suddenly end the dance and leave? Confused pup was confused.

What was happening?

Hubert had gotten a bit lost in thought for a moment, or what had felt like just a moment, and suddenly he found that everyone was getting partnered up. Now what was he supposed to do? Hubert barely knew anyone in the room at that present moment. How was he supposed to partner up with anybody? Blue eyes darted to the left, then the right, and then the left again as Hubert tried to find someone that he could partner up with for the lesson. Upon not finding anyone that he thought would suit his needs, he gave a soft sigh and shook his head a little. This was going to be harder than he had anticipated.

"Is it too late to ask if anyone wants to partner up with me?" Hubert asked. Inwardly he was dreading rejection. The possibility of facing such a thing was becoming more and more likely by the second, especially since Hubert knew no one in the room, so his chances of finding a partner were very slim.

[Beast Boy]

Lady Bow smiled and tapped him on the shoulder. "I could be your partner if that is what you would like?" she said offering her gloved hand towards the boy. "It's been awhile since I have done this so you will have to forgive me..." the green haired girl gave a warm smile but in a way it still had the creepy vibe that most people got when they stared at her
