The Game Begins

[Dawn]

(ooc: Date is July 5th, open to everyone. Please pace this thread proprely i don't want anyone getting left behind)

The boat had come to a stop, and it took the blue haired girl awhile to get used to getting back on land. However, she no longer cared about that as soon as she pushed the door open to her new home. It was huge!!

"Wow!" she said in shock as she stared at the sight around her, it looked more like a giant ballroom from a fairytale. it was too good to be true. "This is amazing.." she said outloud once again,

[Bonz]

(this is a bit different than what I wrote on my app, but I just kind of guessed about how he ended up here instead of reading other people's apps so I'm fixing that here..xD)

Where in the world was this? Bonz had already stepped into the mansion ahead of Dawn and was staring at the enormous room in amazement. This....wasn't right was it? He thought he'd been stowing away on a ship headed to Duelist Kingdom, but instead he'd wound up here. And where WAS here anyway? ...Is this Pegasus's castle? he wondered. Sure looked that way. Although it was kind of pretty and...girly looking. Yuck.

He turned to Dawn in bafflement. "...Is this Duelist Kingdom?" He asked in puzzlement. It was the weirdest thing. When he'd gotten off the boat, some weird lady had welcomed him and given him some kind of key for something. What he didn't know. What was he supposed to do with it anyway? Was it a key for a room? Was he supposed to be staying here?

"This is so weird..." He glanced around the room in awe and confusion.

[Dawn]

Dawn blinked in surprise and almost gave jumped back at the sight of the boy. At the question, she tilted her head, "Duelist Kingdom?What is that?" she asked. "I've never been there, but i've been to Twinleaf town and all around the Sinnoh Region..." her blue eyes looked around the room for a moment as if trying to determine how to answer exactly where they were. "I'm afraid i have no idea where we are exactly..."

[Bonz]

The girl's answers just confused him even more. "Twinleaf Town? Sinnoh region?" He glanced off to the side in puzzlement. "I've never heard of those places..." And somehow she had never heard of Duelist Kingdom either? This was very peculiar. Hm. Maybe the Duelist Kingdom was for invited guests only. Maybe that was why she hadn't heard of it. She hadn't been invited. Yeah that had to be it.

Satisfied with his assessment, Bonz looked around the room once again, taking in the scenery, and then looked back at Dawn again. "Um.....are we supposed to be staying here?"

[Raz]

(..Buck it. I'll do my Homework during first period tomorrow.)

"Whoa...And I thought HQ was impressive..."

Raz quirked an eyebrow as he stepped inside, having followed Dawn up to the front of the Mansion, walking inside only to gaze around at the absolutely huge room in awe and at a loss for words. This..was just way too weird. It didn't look like the right place for some evil-doer to plan something evil, it just looked way too nice for that sort of thing. In fact, the intricacy and detail of the Mansion reminded him of the Psychonauts HQ, only it wasn't practically buzzing with psychic energy..and definently wasn't as nice, he was sorry to say. Cryokinetics, Pyrokinetics, Telepaths, Clairvoyants, Levitators and various others with different abilities, and skill levels...they were all there. But here, it just felt...kind of empty without all of that energy around.

Raz briefly thought to try and levitate to the ceiling to try and get a better view of the place before he thought better of it and decided to remain on the ground. He didn't know who, or what, could be here, nor if they were Psychic friendly or not. The last thing he wanted was to freak anybody out. The boy narrowed his eyes as he averted his gaze away from the scenery, giving a glance over at the others and adjusting his aviator goggles around his neck out of habit. "So, uh...any clues as to where we Might be? 'Cause I don't think the weird letter I got in the mail really said anything about it.."

[Bonz]

"You got a letter?" Bonz turned toward the boy who'd spoken, brows knitting together to meet in the center of his forehead. Ok, this was way too weird. But that explained why he couldn't tell where he was. Maybe that letter explained all of that. Or maybe not. The boy seemed just as lost as he was.

Briefly, Bonz forgot about where and why as he studied the other boy's strange outfit. What an oddball, he thought. Wonder where he's from?

[Dawn]

"So I am not the only one." Dawn replied surprised at Bonz's statement. "I thought i was the only one..." she said taking out the letter out of her pocket. "It was really strange, and it seemed like i was the only one in my town that got one." Now at least she knew she wasn't the only one that got a strange mysterious letter

[Sunao]

Sunao was getting way too used to waking up in unfamiliar places for his lifestyle to be considered healthy. At least the room in the ship had come with a closet full of his own clothes - which was convenient, in a creepy sort of way. Sunao didn't let himself dwell on it. Whatever he might manage to come up with would only work it's way into paranoia, which would lead to a gradual decrease in his intimate relationship with his sanity level.

The boy didn't appear all that pleased with himself as the doors were pushed open, and with good reason. Without any prior warning or preparation for his sudden cross-dressing (an activity he had actively loathed whenever the opportunity was thrust upon him) Sunao had been forced to don the princess cosplay he'd once been coerced into by one of his best friends. Really, why had he even kept the thing? Sure, it would be useful in throwing out the stale question of his gender, but still...

Had it always been so damned poofy?!

Sunao faltered slightly at the sight of three people ahead of him, the doors behind him closing with a creak to announce him whether he was ready or not. "Ah..."

[Raz]

Raz looked over to Bonz and Dawn, giving a final once over of the Scenery before slipping his backpack off of his shoulders and set it down beside his feet. "Yeah, didn't you? I kinda figured everyone who got here did..." He replied, pausing as he dug around in his backpack for the letter, merit badges still attached to the front, to examine the older kid.

The pale complexion, blue hair and overall, unhealthy skeletal appearance kind of made the boy concerned for him, though he just shoved those thoughts to the back of his mind. It wasn't his place to say, though in a weird way, the kid reminded him of Agent Nein where skin color was concerned. Both were pale and skinny, though Sasha's skin had a slightly green tint to it. He heard what Bonz thought of him, though decided not to comment or even acknowledge that he had heard the Older's thoughts. While it was true he was a 'Kidnapping Specialist', he predominantly was skilled moreso in Telepathy than any of his other abilities. Telepathy did slip up at times, everyone's did. His own powers weren't as...controlled as Agent Nein's, but at least he knew how to ignore the thoughts that, at times, weren't his own.

While his hand was still inside his backpack, he gave his wrist a flick, using telekinesis to fish the letter out of the other stuff inside, closed up the backpack and held it up. It was just a letter, a bit crumpled from being in his backpack for a while, but still legible. He flicked his gaze to Dawn, seeing that she had a letter too as he skimmed it over after folding it back open. "I'm not too sure if any of my other friends got one, either...Did you get a key or something with yours?" He asked her as he pocketed the letter again.

A creaking noise from behind him made Raz turn around, fingers already pressed to his temple out of instinct (You never know when something just deserves a Psi-blast to the Face), though he lowered them once he saw that it was just another person, though if it was a boy or Girl, he couldn't really be sure. Raz smiled a little as he lowered his hand, mentally shoving away any potential inward embarrassment. "Oh, um..Hey. Glad you could join us.."

[Aphrodite]

Some would say the goddess of love was late. However, it was her little party, so they were just all early, right? Either way, the goddess was used to being summoned by mortals, now she was running on her own time. This whole pretending to be human stuff was going to be harder than she thought. However, she was sure if they knew who she was, they'd want her to do all the work for them, and that wasn't how it worked. In her own experience with Zeus' son, things got messy when she interfered too much. However, leave the mortals to themselves and things still went to crap.

That was why she devised this plan. It would make her job so much easier, and make their love lives so much less stressful.

Losing her theme music and grand entrance, which by this point was just an annoyance anyways, she sauntered down the steps and into the main entrance of her castle where a few of the mortals were awaiting some sort of explanation. It was a very diverse, very odd group of people she'd managed to draw here. And that was saying something to the goddess who'd been to the wrong side of Thebes. They seemed to be predominately male right now. This would change soon.

"So..." She began, clasping her hands together. "I suppose you all are wondering what you're doing here, huh?" She asked, a knowing smile on her face.

[Bonz]

"Um.." For a moment Bonz looked rather sheepish and uncomfortable at Raz's question, and he looked away as an unhealthy reddish tinge colored the tops of his high, protruding cheekbones. He didn't want to admit he'd pretty much stowed away and ended up being brought here by accident. He was saved the awkwardness of trying to fumble over his embarrassment however when the beautiful woman named Aphrodite entered.

He stared blankly at her, seeming unphased by her beauty. "Yeah. Why are we here? What is this place?" He asked, honestly curious. It was becoming more and more evident all the time that this was no rig of Pegasus. Pegasus wouldn't have a pretty lady like that working here.......would he?

[Flim]

"I do declare, I have never seen such a collection of bipedal finefellows since I ended up in that bird convention in Mane City, Mane." Flim trotted through the open doors. "Why, if I didn't know better, I'd say I wasn't in Equestria anymore." Truth be told, the showpony was only putting up his usual Joie de Vivre that he used entering any new town. He took off his hat, looking around, though. "Well, look at that. Not a pony to be found but my very nonpareil self."

He grinned as he walked amongst the others. "So, my friends, what are you? Pardon my frankness. I just was under the impression there'd be more folks of like myself, when I got the invitation. Because you could point me to the nearest equine facility. I seem to have gotten the wrong address." He looked around, wondering where the other ponies were. He would have expected being hosted by the goddess Aphoofdite before being caught up with such strange creatures.

[Dawn]

Dawn bit back a laugh at the talking unicorn. Even though she had never seen one, she had gotten used to weird things over time on her adventures. "Hello, its nice to meet you." she said with a big smile. "I'm Dawn, and i think the majority of us are human."

[Mooch]

"Oh great, humans and not a lady dog in sight."

Grumpy pup grumbled as he walked up towards the group, shaggy coat swaying in the breeze as he moved towards the humans and the giant horse with the horn sticking out of his head. Tail lowered but not in a fear based position, Mooch planted his rear near the humans and lifted a long leg up to scratch behind his ear.

"What's the hubbub shiny lady?" he said peering up at Aphrodite, "Why are we all here. And what's with this key I got?"

He peered up at the blue haired human hoping for a scratch. Humans were only good at one thing in Mooch's opinion and that was scratching his head.

[Dawn]

Dawn immeditly went into the "ooooh what a cute dog mode" and started to scratch the dog behind the ear. "What a good boy, yes you are." she said with a smile. Though she was just as confused by the invitation as everyone else. So she was hoping Aphrodite would answer the question soon. As for the area around her, there seemed to be only guys, she had gotten the right adddress right?
