Psychic kept his eyes on Bonz for a little while, though before he could comment on how awkward he seemed to be at the moment, another person had walked in. Wow. Just..Wow. This woman was even prettier than Milla, though He wouldn't say it to the mental Minx's face. "Uh..Yeah. Think you could fill us in?" He replied, taking notice of an odd-colored Unicorn and a Dog had walked in. Well..This was just strange.
"Okay, Maybe I'm actually still on a mission and all I'm seeing here are Figments.." he muttered to himself before looking over to Flim, motioning over to Dawn with a free hand as he put his backpack on again. "Yeah, what she said. I think most of us are Humans, here...But what're you? I don't think I've seen anything quite like you before.."

The next young man to arrive was rather late to the supposed party. James had ended up wandering about the ship they had arrived on for a while, trying to get a good idea of what he was in for, before realizing that they had come to a stop. So he had scrambled after the others in an attempt not to get left behind before finally finding himself in the company of everyone else who was present. James didn't quite know what to make of the presence of everyone else, but he wasn't all that inclined to question it right then. At least, he wasn't until he caught sight of a creature that somewhat resembled a Rapidash. "A Rapidash? All on its own? That's odd..." James murmured. He was tempted to try and approach Flim, mainly to see if he really was a Rapidash, but he stopped himself upon catching sight of Aphrodite. She looked like she had some idea of what she was talking about. Maybe she could explain what they were doing there.
"Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt whatever's going on here, but I want to know something. What exactly are we all doing here? More importantly, what's the idea inviting us out here in the first place?" James asked. He hadn't noticed Dawn by that point. It was probably for the better, though. He didn't want to have to deal with a twerp like her right then.
-----
Trailing behind James was a redhead who really looked like he didn't want to be there at the moment. Hiccup had gotten his invitation all right, but that didn't mean he could make sense of it. Why had he been invited out to some unknown island for no explained reason that he could make out? Furthermore, why did it look like he was the only Viking present? As if Hiccup hadn't felt uncomfortable before, now he could truly say that he felt like he didn't belong there. "Great. This is going to turn into one big awkwardfest. I can just feel it." Hiccup groaned.

"Humans?" Flim took a moment to taste the word in his mouth. "Humans. Humans? So these are humans?" In all my days of study and speechifying, this is the first time I've even heard of humans. He frowned at the thought.
He had seen dragons, pegasi, griffins, even merponies, but he had ever seen or heard about 'humans'. "Well, then, if this place is meant for humans, then I would like to know why such an upstanding equine gentleman of the marketing variety as myself was invited to such an event featuring such non-equine sorts with the promise of being happily hitched in a heartbeat using this constituent clasped to a chain that is currently in my possession. As a nonpareil unicorn, this seems most unusual, absurd, and furthermore," he sat down on the floor, "confounding."

Raz sighed softly, glancing back over to the two newcomers before looking back over to Flim again. Young Psychic's expression shifted for a moment from confusion to concern as he listened to him, as somewhere in that string of words the boy had gotten his answer as to what the Unicorn was. So, this isn't some mental world I ended up getting lost in, which explains why I can't contact any of the others..this might be the real deal....
When Flim finally sat down and ended his spiel with 'confounding', the boy only nodded, arms crossed over his chest as he looked around at all of the newer faces. "Heh, You're telling me. But," he gave a small shrug of his shoulders as he looked back over to the Salespony again. If it seemed like all of these people were going to be living together under one roof, he figured he might as well make an attempt to make a few new friends. "Who knows. I mean, if this many people showed up, there's no telling what else could, too. Maybe one of your friends will show up when you least expect it."

Mooch whined in delight as the human scratched behind his ears, leg shaking. Alright so the comments she made were a little demeaning but eh, who cared? He was getting scratched! He grinned up at her. "Great job lady," he said with a chuckle, "Thanks." He wasn't one to thank people but the bully of a sheepdog felt he should say something. He peered at the key dangling on his chest.
"Did anybody get one of these?" He asked, tail thumping behind him.

Silently thanking Aphrodite's sudden entrance as a distraction from his own, Sunao took the moment to walk forward towards the group, the fabric of his skirt bunched in both hands to prevent himself from tripping on it's front. Having never met a woman until his recent departure from the all-male 'family' he'd grown up with, Sunao was not struck instantly by her beauty but instead stared suspiciously up at their revealed hostess. Whatever rude demand for information the child might have spouted was cut short as a more people arrived. Was people the right word?
"Is that a unicorn?" Sunao muttered almost to himself, disbelief clear on the feminine male's face. Then entered a talking dog... "What."
Placing two fingers on his temple, Sunao walked to the side of the blue-haired girl. With his build, even as her elder of five years Sunao appeared little taller than Dawn, and standing beside her it was easier to think of him as a young teenaged girl rather than his true age of nineteen.
A few more entrances later had Sunao folding his hands in front of him, expression adopting a flatness of frustrated exasperation. Of all the other guests, he was most inclined to agree with the new fur-clad boy's comment. 'One big awkwardfest', indeed. "Got that right..." Sunao said quietly, shooting a sideways glance at Aphrodite from beneath pink bangs. What exactly was her game?
Fuchsia eyes traveled to the talking dog once again as he... Well, talked, which was curious in and of itself... But when he lifted the key around his neck, Sunao's brows drew together. "Oh..." Reaching up to fish a thin chain from beneath his high collar, Sunao let the small weight of his gold lock slide into his palm where he could hold it up. Pinning his skirt to his legs so it wouldn't puff out, Sunao crouched to the dog's level so he could see the locket in his hand. "You mean this?"

Hiccup's gaze went to the key Mooch had indicated, and subconsciously his own hand went to his neck. There had been a strange chain and a key with his letter, and Hiccup had been wondering what the point of it was. He hadn't questioned it at first, though. He'd just thought it was some weird accessory and had chosen to wear the key around his neck. He removed the key from around his neck and studied it for a moment before realizing that Sunao had pulled out what appeared to be a lock of some kind. Clearly, things were going to be more interesting than he had initially suspected.
"I got this weird key, if that's what you mean." Hiccup said. He was holding onto the chain the key was attached to in such a manner so that it was dangling from his grasp and in full view. It was a strange little key, he realized. He'd never seen one shaped quite like it before.

Mooch's face scrunched up. Was this guy a chick or a dude? His ears perked silently, wide yellow eyes not hiding his calculations. It was wearing a skirt wasn't it? So it was a chick? He shook his head. "Yeah that," he said pointing to the object with a thick paw, "That thing. I got one and I have no idea where it came from. I dunno what its for either. It's shiny though, goes with my swag." Tail thumped behind him though more out of curiosity than out of pleasure. He stayed planted next to the girl who'd been scratching him however rather than slide up next to the feminine being before him.
"Nice hair," Mooch blurted out. It was awkward. He wanted to say something to the pretty human but couldn't think of anything beyond that. Normally he would have teased and prodded, had the boy been a dog, but as a human Mooch was more afraid of getting a newspaper to the nose rather than acting out his bully tendencies.

"I say, didn't I just say I had a constituent of that sort?" Flim pulled the ley out of his vest and snorted. "From what I understood reading the meandering manuscript that arrived with this gilded glamour-wear, it's supposed to pair up with a female's locked locket of love. Granted, if it were that simple, then why would it be handed out for free? Why, such an unbelievable device would make a millionaire out of the intrepid entrepreneur who enterprised such an interesting interlocking set for the occasion of such an eclectic entourage."
He tapped his chin in thought. The problem was that the keys seemed pretty solid. However, as he saw the pink-haired newcomer reveal a lock, he knew he'd have to get his hooves on one. The secret to the mechanisms was obviously hidden in them, and if you could deconstruct and reconstruct it, he could be the one to make the bundle off of the blessed bi-piece set. However, he didn't think that someone was going to hand over their lock. He'd need a partner to collaborate with on this. Someone with a lock who was more than willing to let him take it or be easily fascinated enough to study it with him. He looked around the room, not really suspecting anyone else would appreciate such an endeavor.

Raz paused a little, also taking out his key from around his neck to examine it before looking over to Hiccup's. Nothing but brass, or just steel covered in a brass-like paint, with a heart-shaped bit at the end where he threaded a thin piece of black leather. No psychic signature on it either, so he couldn't track it's previous holder down unless he wanted to end up with a serious headache. The psychic huffed out of irritation, taking another look around the room to see a Pink-haired girl take out her lock, before looking down at his key again. "Oh, Right, the letter did mentions locks and keys. Weird..."
Boy sighed, placing the object around his neck again. If there was a lock for this key, he was going to find it, though he suspected that it wouldn't be easy to do so without someone wiling to help him with it. Who knew if a lock and key were just pawns in some sort of greater scheme or something? Raz huffed, removing his aviator helmet and placing it in his backpack before he ruffled his hair, silently wishing that someone he knew was around to help him figure this thing out. This was going to be interesting...confusing, but interesting.

Bonz looked around in amazement as the new guests poured in, more amazed and shocked by the sight of the talking unicorn and dog more than anything. He took a few steps backward as the others came forward, subconsciously moving to make room for them. As conversation shifted to the manner of the mysterious key, Bonz frowned and took his own key out of his pocket, staring at it silently in contemplation.
However.....what the unicorn said made his ears perk a little. ...it's supposed to pair up with a female's locked locket of love." Wait a minute, locket of love....? He stared at the key with wide eyes, gears in his head turning. Locket of...love? And he had a key? And the key was supposed to....
"GROSS!!" He burst out, "You mean this whole setup is something to do with love?!" He made a face, somewhat repulsed by the prospect. "Are we...supposed to find girlfriends or something...?" He struck his tongue out a little at that idea. Gross.

Raz frowned at the key around his neck as his attention shifted to Bonz's outburst, both puzzled, intriguied and confused. Locket..of Love. Well, that made as much sense as Coach Oleander's Psychic death Tank scheme...Psychic sighed, looking over to the pale, almost skeletal older kid again. While he didn't really want to admit it that the Kid's expression to the Idea of love matched was Raz currently felt, Love wasn't all that bad..was it? At first, Razputin never really though about Love, only about his Job as a Psychonaut, there wasn't going to be any distractions. And yet somehow, distractions happened.
As the boy looked around at all of the other newcomers, puzzled and amazed that so many could possibly fit in such a place like this, the Boy now felt an odd twinge of awkwardness and began almost absent-mindedly fiddling with the aviation goggles around his neck after he removed his key and instead put it in his pocket. If this idea was to pair their key up with a Girl's locket of love, things could get either very interesting or very dangerous in a matter of seconds. "Well..Uh, M-maybe it doesn't exactly mean 'girlfriend' as in, y'know, Girlfriend, maybe it just means that 'A friend, who happens to be a Girl'?"
Raz mentally facepalmed himself, expression turning sullen as he glanced at the key around his neck again. That..that was just a stupid explanation. Sure, Raz did consider Lili his Girlfriend, though at first he wasn't too sure about the whole thing. But, it did make sense. The letter mentioned someone named 'Aphrodite' as a Loving Planner or something along those lines, and the whole 'Lock and key' thing sounded almost like something out of some sort of cliche chick-flick. "So...if we don't find out whoever matches with our Keys, then we just keep trying until something fits, right?"

((Guuuuuys, slow it down, I have school, my wifi sucks at the moment, I can't keep up with all of this, especially since Aphrodite's an important person in this thread :/)
Aphrodite frowned a bit at the loss of focus on her. Did the mortals want to know what was going on or not? However, she couldn’t blame them, she’d be rather confused as well, where she not the mastermind behind it all…
“Yes, yes, you all got locks and keys.” She said as everyone became fascinated with the little brass objects. They had no idea they were enchanted. “But back to why you’re all here.” She said smoothly. “I’m the one who brought you here, as if it wasn’t obvious already.” Anyone who didn’t make the connection that this was her house, her island, she’d assume was either late, or didn’t notice her (but really, how could anyone not notice her?)
“My name is Aphrodite.” She was hoping no one would make the connection; after all, it wasn’t as if she couldn’t have just been named after the goddess. “You can think of me as a guide of sorts, as for why you’re here, well…” She trailed off. Should she tell them? She didn’t exactly trust this particular group to work it out by themselves that the locks and keys were supposed to guide them to their soul mate, really.
“Love...it’s a tricky thing.” She mused, wondering the best way to word. “That’s why I decided to help you, as you all already know, you were given a lock and a key. It’s up to you to find who you match up with.”
She heard the suspicion of some of those present and spoke again. “I know it may seem unevenly matched, but more people will come, and I’m sure there are more… Equestrians on their way. And if not then I suppose my list made a mistake. No matter, it can easily be fixed if that’s the case. After all, I’m only human…” OK, that wasn’t completely true, so she really had no excuse, but she really didn’t think her list was mistaken.
((I'm just going to say that this was meant to be before the last 4 posts for my own sake))
